Trying to relive that first "WOW" moment with BAND-MAID is why BAND-MAID reaction videos are quite to popular to begin with i believe. Personally i keep coming back for your Frimaids is because you are about as far away from me as a person as you could get. You're young, female and have heard comparatively much less music than I have which mean you hear BM differently than I do in some ways. To me that makes you valuable as another point of view. Please keep watching the videos and just say whats in your head when you do. Also "everyone" is right, you should watch Secret MAIKO Lips soon after this video. 😁

More peeks at an important, transformational group known as Band-Maid. Three things I think are fascinating with this group; 1) the deeper one digs, the more one appreciate the members authenticity, writing and musical sensibilities; 2) your favorite song will generally be the one you're currently listening to; and 3) why does it seem they have no bad songs? Band-Maid has plenty of bad songs, according to one of their interviews. It's just that they threw them all in the dumpster and only released 115 (to date) of their most awesome songs. This disciplined integrity is one of the things that keeps them at the top of the rock pile. Thx Michelle!
This is a very underrated song of theirs. I think, largely due to the Band-Maiko version. Both versions are amazing. This was from "Just Bring It " which had an album cover that used an optical illusion that shows two images that are both there. There is both a skull and a cartoon picture of Miku and Saiki drinking tea at a cafe with a full moon as a backdrop. But yeah, watch Secret Maiko Lips too! Gion-Cho is another awesome Band-Maiko song!
It will always amaze me how B-M's music speaks directly to your feelings. On this song they suddenly teleport you to some Caribbean beach for a moment just to get you back to the power of the theme. Secret MAIKO Lips and Gion-cho could be great additions to the lottery and I hope you already have Yu-Gi-Oh's ending, Glory, among them!

As for the change-ups in tempo, some of the members in Band Maid are fans of Maximum the Hormone, who is also known for doing that in extremes😆. Akane even used a MtH song as her demo for getting into Band Maid.
This song has April Fool's Day, but the singing style is the old Japanese singing style. Specifically, there is a strong vibrato at the end of the word. From rock and maid, the combination of rock and old songs It's a song that made Band Maid's expressiveness and wide range of performances known. In Japan, as many artists as there are stars are born and disappear every year. The only way to become famous in Japan is to do things that others are not doing. Make sure they are original and operate at a level that no one can imitate.
Ok, here’s the standout difference: even if Rock bands from the States could compose on this level, the guitarists would just play chords during the verses. BUT HELL NO! Miku maintains the chug while Kanami SHREDS through every verse section! It’s this attention to quality and composition that sets them multiple levels above all the other bands in this genre. Just another example of Band Maid making everyone else look bad by simply doing everyday Band Maid things!💪🏻🤘🏻

I was a casual B-M listener until this song. The change up in this song made me realize how awesome they are at composing, and now I listen to them almost everyday. So many great things in this song. Akane double kicking the bass drum at around the 2 minute mark of the song, the jazz break, and the best one: Miku and Saiki switching at the end. Miku goes lead with her sweet voice and Saiki switches to her deeper voice to harmonize.
MISA MISA MISA! sorry this is NOT live this is a studio recording over the Live footage although the live version is almost identical. I think they used the Recorded sound because in this Okyu-ji Sai-chan is really struggling with her voice (she had surgery about 2-3 months later to remove polyps from her throat).
@@kikistravelservice there are interviews with the band from this time and Sai-chan hardly speaks (where she got the Ice Princess nickname) because she was saving her throat.
Well I guess since the newness has worn off it is time to move on to a different band. 👀 Then again, if you didn't notice Kanami shredding your face off during the choruses and outro then maybe you haven't completely figured them out. 😉
