You took a big leap moving to a new country. Totally understandable to feel lonely, especially without family close by. You’re lucky to be vlogging your experience. In 20-30 years you can look back at these videos with fond memories!
Dari, sorry you got sick! Hope your feeling much better! In the winter season I always get what is called " the winter blues." Depression and loneliness. Whenever I feel this way, I call and talk to friend's and family. It's always good to talk to someone. It will pass Dari. Hang in there. Springtime is coming! That white piece of art in the museum reminded me of a broken tooth! 😂 That was the first thing that came to mind. Lol! Happy to see you and wish you good luck with your studies. Wishing you Good Health, Happiness and many blessings.🙏❤😊
Very interesting and entertaining video Dari! Loneliness is such a real thing and I am glad that you recognize it. I wish you all the best and look forward to your next video!
Dari, thank you for another incredible vlog. I hate that you were sick, but glad you are on the mend and feeling better. I also admire and appreciate you being so open on loneliness. I moved to my current city for work and, like you, knew absolutely no one. Loneliness is an epidemic here, especially after Covid, and it's leading to a lot of mental health issues, both here and worldwide. It says a lot about you to address it and share your feelings with us, and as someone who has worked on suicide prevention campaigns, I really am thankful for your bold, genuine self. You're a remarkable woman, Dari. We're all better for having you as a piece of our own lives. 🙏🏻
Hey Dasha, sorry life is treating you harshly. I hope you find moments of rest and meaning as you go through grad school. Thanks for sharing this side of life in a big city. It is quite relatable. Your videos are always interesting to view so thanks for sharing!
My professor for my undergraduate class had me watch your video with Sophia as part of my studies in 'Russia Today', and I got interested in your videos and kept watching more. Sorry to hear that you got sick and are dealing with tough times- they will improve! Like many said, it is a lot harder in the winter and things will pick back up in the warmer months like you may have first experienced when you arrived to NYC. Keep your head up and keep pushing, you have a good attitude and will do just fine.
That's very nice of you to share an honest video and remind people that we all have ups and downs. And hopefully when your health bounces back to 100 percent it will boost your spirits as well. 😊
Happy you are feeling better! Don't try to do too much. You're number one priority is to do well in school and finish your degree! Thanks for sharing your inner feelings. We all through down times every now and then.
Sorry to hear you were not well Dari. I hope you are better now. Also I agree it’s important to show all stages and situations in life. It’s more realistic and authentic 😊
Dari, long time follower of your channel, but first time sdding a comment. Your vlogs that showed your happiness during the Halloween, & Thanksgiving parades and the beautiful Christmas decorations. These vlogs brightened my outlook just by seeing your smiling face of pure joy! Take care, spring is just around the corner 🤗
5:11 I know exactly how you felt in that moment... i wish i was there just to give you a hug and wipe away those tears. I've been through hardships and loneliness long enough. You are very brave, your eyes are mirror of your soul ... You are beautiful as inside as outside... Such a nice woman in that big gray city, but you are not alone, there will always be some guardian angel for a beauty like you...
Very brave sharing your feelings of loneliness. Mental health like that always happen in winter which is why I live in the sunny state. However, we just got a whole river coming down. Anyway, hang in there, spring is around the corner.
Privet Miss "Sunny Soul": Just checking in with you. I hope you are feeling well and strong now. It had snowed last night in my west coast area and I thought I should drop by for a couple of lines. I hope your classes went well this week and look forward to your positive and uplifting content. I wish you well and continue to dissipate those shadows with your light! Take care.
There's definitely a lot of loneliness, I have found, especially when you are low on money and starting school in the city. For myself I went to school years and am trying to get back into the swing of things, now getting into my first o2ne bedroom apartment. Definitely a learning experience for sure.
Thanks for the the great video:) Paul Tillich said something very wise about being, or feeling, alone: "Our language has wisely sensed these two sides of man’s being alone. It has created the word “loneliness” to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word “solitude” to express the glory of being alone." Being alone is an opportunity to get to know ourselves better, and become more of ourselves. Hope you are feeling better. You should be very proud of what you have achieved. I'm proud of you. Love from Scotland 🏴 ❤
Moving abroad from France to Canada 8 years ago, I know that feeling. Fares are crazy, job is exhausting. Winter is long. Mental health is a challenge, carry on 🤗
Don’t apologise for being normal. We older people experience these feelings all the time. We are ignored by everyone and regularly told we are a burden on society. Good luck for your studies and keep being your lovely self. I was once told that we forget common things because we only retain about 5 things in our conscious mind at the one time, if another item arrives, such as a phone call or miss a bus, one of those things in our mind is replaced, in this case it was your backpack that was replaced by another thought. I don’t know what the answer is but keeping a list of essentials might help.
I hope you are feeling better soon. Loneliness is transitory and it happens everywhere. It even happens when we are surrounded by loved ones. We should always look out for others who may be experiencing loneliness especially older persons. When we ask them about their lives, it is a great blessing to them, and we feel less lonely, too. Best wishes from Kentucky.
NYC is a lonely place at times. For me, living here, as an American, I had a few friends/family here when I first got here, but they’ve left since the pandemic. New Yorkers are nice people but they are just under a lot of stress a lot, I think, so they come off as rude. For me, between working, commuting to work, getting 8 hours of sleep & going to the gym, there is not much time to hang out with friends especially if they live in a different neighborhood. What I do find, though, is that once you have a connection (work, hometown, local cafe, etc) w New Yorkers, they can be very loyal and helpful, but even so sort of abrupt when it comes to being generous w their time. That’s just my experiences.
New York is a fast paced city especially if you're coming from Moscow Russia. I feel like all foreigners will feel homesick but you will get over it soon and realize that US is your second home. I always tell foreign people to travel around US Explorer this diverse country You will love it even more. There's places here that will make it feel like your hometown as far as atmosphere. NYC can be overwhelming but once you get use to the fast paced it will be comfortable
Hopefully you are feeling better Dari. I love soup,it looked very good. I make cauliflower and stilton cheese soup sometimes and lots of other soups. Stay well, spring is on the way. Cities are lonely places. I am sorry that you are feeling lonely.I have moved many times but never to a city. The winter months probably make it more isolating. I am a person who doesn't mind being on my own,I am a loner😊 Just relax and enjoy yourself. All the best to you. 💕
Glad you're feeling better again. Just remember, bad days are not a failure, they're normal part of the journey. It's very inspiring to see you drive your own success like this. Good luck the coming weeks!
Glad you are feeling better. It's tough being sick and then alone as well. You are so outgoing that I am sure you will have many friends. Good luck with your classes, They sound hard. I've had spinal issues lately and feel a bit isolated from friends and coworkers, but I do have my husband.
Loneliness sucks. But. It's safer than the alternative. Getting into relationship drama that can derail you. Just remember you working for the woman you going to be. Stay grinding for your future self. Your future husband and future kids are counting on you.
I am happy that you are now feeling better. I hope that it will be possible to watch a recording of the lecture that you missed. My son used to be able to watch videos of any missed lectures on line at his university. He sometimes watched them at 1 1/2 speed to save time. I think that you said that you worked every day at the end of last term to keep up. Personally I find that I work better if I do not work on Sundays because I need a day off each week. You could alternatively take Saturdays off instead. I am sure that you will fully understand business analytics by the time that that course ends.
After seeing your posted pictures from Columbia, this was not the video I was expecting! "It's so cold in NY", and Sanctioned Ivan tells us about the -20C's in Moscow! I think you have become acclimated to our weather here or you have been jelling too long in that warm apartment bed! Hope it was just a cold and not the flu or CoVid (Hell, I've lost count on the number of strains out there on that already)! You left your backpack and took the wrong train. Wow, she is human/normal! 😂😂 So, what do I see hanging there? It's a planet or a universe being build. Its the birth of something as the light bust through its openings and it is all contained/surrounded by a four sided square window, so you can see it from different angles or perspectives! I commend you on the steps that you have taken in your life and along the way, you will encounter loneliness and some unhappiness. Remember, it takes time to grow your roots and establish a foundation. Stay focused on your board (Check). Your hard work will pay off (Check)! Opps!, maybe I should let you you check those off! 😃😃 If your smiling, then I made your day!
Glad you’re on the mend. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and just hang in there. Life is full of ups and downs, but I’d like to think there are a lot more good days than bad ones. ❤
Loneliness is a real problem for many people in the US. Fortunately most people are friendly and if you engage in outside activities you will meet a lot of people some of whom will become your friends. I discovered that I have what is called a sigma personality. I didn't even know what that was. I'm never lonely, in fact I prefer to be alone. I have so many interests I don't get to sleep most nights until 3 AM. As an engineering student I had to take a course in economics and accounting. And like everything else I was taught I found the flaws, and came up with my own theories about everything. I grew up about a mile from Saint John's University. During the summer between my high school graduation and my freshman year of college I took a speed reading course there. I was up to 780 words a minute. Didn't do much good though. For example studying physics there were times I'd struggle to get through a few pages a night. 😁 You seem a lot happier than you were a year ago. That makes me happy for you. 🙃
I had several occasions to see psychiatrists. Once was on a lawyer's advice after what should have been a fatal car accident 34 years ago and other times when people thought I was suicidal (I wasn't) They all told me I'm crazy and I told them to tell me something I didn't already know. 😂
Loneliness is tough it's also quite common. I can tell you it's probably worse here in Los Angeles because it's not centralized. People are not out walking everywhere. There are literally people EVERYWHERE here but unlike New York or even Chicago you're not running into them cause most people are in cars. Also since you might have to travel for social stuff, bars, clubs, events (they aren't often in a central area like NYC) it's easy to just not meet as many people. Even more so if you're older and not in school. Hang in there.
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah... deeeep breath... ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 OMG! I'm so sad you had such bad luck and then got sick, but it's just hilarious the way you portrayed it 😅 My apologies, I'm a horrible person 🙈 In times when everything fails (or just SNAFU) you can choose to laugh or cry 🙂🙃 I must say that the thumbnail photo, episode headline and intro was superbly done and presented, LOVE IT 😍🤩 Art is a gift that I have yet to recieve... so I'll take your word for it 🤔 Loneliness is understandably a very unpleasant feeling. As time passes, one day we suddenly realize that we do not have the same kind of priorities and time as we did like when we were kids, teenagers, young adults etc. The important thing is to know, in your hart, that it's not because people, friends and family don't want you in their lives anymore. Some could argue saying something like; Being alone in The Big City and you feel lonely, but being alone in a wooden cabin in the mountains and you feel at peace... 😶🌫 My very best wishes for your speedy recovery and looking forward for the next episode
This sort of video is why I admire you so much. Not all of them are the happy fun Dari, sometimes we get the serious sad Dari too! So sorry you felt ill for a while but I hope you are much better now. I know there is a fun Columbia video coming soon so I suspect the lonlieness is maybe due to all your friends leaving on holiday and you being alone in a strange massive city. Of course you give us great messages to try and avoid staying indoors all day and not going out to meet new people and that things always change over time. Hope this sad period is very short and we can soon enjoy spending time with fun happy Dari again!
Maybe ask A+ Russian, Olga, if she has young friends in NYC. She and Lenny are such kind people, and it would be heartwarming for you to be able to share more fully with friends face-to-face in Russian...🦋🥰
Everything else, like understanding difficult studies, will become so much easier if you have people close to you who make you feel embraced and are naturally encouraging
This is the vlog that shows how many are following because they are just as interested in you as a person as they are in the places you go and the things that you do. When I was your age (about 40 years ago) I traveled to other countries for work and once in a while it was a bit overwhelming and lonely and I would just end up spending most of my time in my room but maybe it was what I needed, a little regeneration rather than additional challenge.
The struggles of life are so recognisable, its admirable the energy you spend in making these video's. I honestly and simply want to say , thank you Dari
I remember it well, the first time I moved to another country by myself, I also felt this loneliness, or maybe I was also a little homesick. Probably a combination. It gets better over time, from my experience. Take care Dari and don't push yourself too much with everything you are trying to do. There is no shame if it takes a bit longer to reach your goal. I am sure you will do it. Looking forward to the next vlog.
Great video Dari! But do not suffer of melancholy! You are always so full of joy! Spring is just around the corner and everything will turn into a positive perspective. Dari we are always very happy to see that you are fine! Try to hold on, knowing that at the end of your studies you will have a lot of satisfaction! Wow Spanish language! I admire you very much. You are a model for young people. Wish you everything you wish. Take care❤⭐️❤️
Hey Dari, once again you show us that everything in life has its ups and downs and you remind us that we are not alone. Thank you ❤. It will get better for sure ❤. I wish you for the best. I am sending you a virtual hug to feel better ❤.
You were messing up and forgetting things because you were not well. And, this season, for some reason, everybody seems to be getting sick. Don't feel bad about not being in such a good state right now. It's been so dark and gloomy - not inspiring. I will say some prayers for you in hope things will turn around. Every day we are one day closer to spring! I love your video! Take care.😊❤
Privet Dari: Thank you for this video! It has been many months since I have gotten to see you. So much of you I had to catch up on. I am so glad you are here in the US and that you are going to a university. It is spectacular that you get to study abroad. For about 2 years I have been viewing you with great admiration and have found you to be such a positive young woman, you truly are a "Sunny Soul". I know the cold gray of such a huge city can get you down. I am though a "Gray Rain Cloud" and this kind of weather perks me up; excited by the rain. I am sorry you are sad and ill right now. I would make you some borscht. Keep your joy centered, take another step forward & patiently endure...persevere! You ARE a wonderful "light" of which NO shadow cast in your way can stand. You are taking an economics class and an accounting class in winter...OMG!...no wonder you feel depressed...I would too! But I know it is what you need in pursuance of your degree completion. Your brain must want so much sugar (glucose). Eat some Jolly Rancher candy (hard sugar). And since you walk so much eat more Potassium (Banana, Tomato, Orange, Potato). It is great you went to a museum. I always love it when you go to them where ever you are and I would comment to you about them. This museum seems more modern with some old structures in it. Since you are in NYC now will see a play, symphony, ballet or opera now? This is such busy time for you now, hectic. Maybe video conference with Natasha and Elena if able to do. I do miss seeing the three of you together. Eat food high in B vitamin to bring up your mood - fresh pineapple is great. I look forward to viewing from you again soon. Keep up the gym routine and add some more cardio. Please keep smiling. I am really happy and excited for you; even in these struggles your face. You are not alone and the unseen majority of You Tube wish you well. Take care!
You are one brave lady to do this. Relocate for studies so far from familiar surroundings. Spring in NY will come soon and you'll have to go to Bronx Botanical gardens for the Spring renewal. Winter is always the hardest part in any cold climate. Be well. From Florida Best wishes.
Hi Dari! There are a lot of cold/flu viruses going around right now, January and February are usually the worst of traditional cold and flu season. I’m glad you seemed to bounce back fairly quickly. Please make sure you set aside time to relax and give yourself self care. Many forget that setting aside some “me” time is a very important aspect of discipline. Otherwise someone who goes to the gym often and uses public transport is very likely to get warm out and catch a cold and flu again due to a stressed immune system. Yes, loneliness is a big problem here in the USA because people work too hard and lose personal connections. Take advantage of University campus life and activities. Look for volunteer activities that interest you and maybe help others. Pick a bar or cafe you feel safe and comfortable hanging out at with school friends and try to be a regular at happy hour, as much as once a week, so you can enjoy at least one beverage, beer, wine, or cocktail and share an appetizer with your friends and meet people. As spring comes around, go to the gym less and sign up for a local amateur sports league like Volleyball, tennis, a running club, or a hiking or biking group. Maybe join a martial arts studio. You are young, beautiful, interesting, adventurous, and kind. I am confident that by Spring, you will feel much more connected in NYC than you do now. Like all things, it takes a little time and a little effort. As always, a loyal audience member of your UA-cam journeys!!! Keep being awesome!
Sorry to hear you've been sick and a bit lonely. Unlike native New Yorkers, you lack the network of family and friends that natives would have. And that's no fault of yours. On top of that you're compelled to focus on your studies. And your studies is where your focus should be. So you lack spare time to network with others--at least outside of the peers in your graduate program. It might be reassuring to remember that this phase in your life is relatively short and will be over soon. It's always difficult sharing challenges in our lives, particularly as we're navigating our way thru them. You find a way to share your challenges with us yet stay optimistic. That's just is one of several things that makes you special!
I moved from my home in Iowa to the Ghana in West Africa for several years. Living in a strange land, with strange people, eating strange food, and speaking strange languages is never easy. There is a lot of anxiety and depression. This is normal. But with time, you adapt. There is no way to avoid it. Be kind to yourself as you adapt to your new life. You will get there.
Hang in there Dari, it won't always be like this. Also, you may have to make things happen. I was so shy when I first went to college. Today, I am anything but shy. I will walk up to anyone and start a conversation. Most people are shy, reserved, or scared to talk to other people. Don't be. Most people are thinking the same thing. If you see someone sitting alone in a coffee shop, introduce yourself and ask if you can sit down with them. Tell them where you came from, they may want to talk to you. Never quit. Be outgoing. If I was your age and in the city, I would be your friend. You are a wonderful person. Always think that. You are worthy of love and friendship. I went through the same things as you when I was young. It can be tough. Put yourself into your work and do not go places where you will see other people with their boyfriends or husbands. Seeing other people paired up would drive me crazy when all I wanted was to get back together with the girl I loved,, but had other things in mind. You just have to focus on other things and goals. School is a good distraction.
Oh Dari watching this I just want to give you the biggest cuddle(hug) ever I know the big cities are lonely and I felt just like that after a month in London they are all great cool cities but I felt quite alone myself after a while but you have University and you are a strong minded beautiful girl you have already made some friends and soon you will feel more secure and happier! I wanted to hug you when you had to go back for your rucksack awwe you know it was a bad day you are very brave, determined and so strong we all know that Dari, look after yourself love and respect David Porter❤
Beautiful commentary, and I felt your pain. When I was younger(30 or 40 years ago) I experienced similar feelings, but thankfully now that I'm older and the bloom is off the rose 🌹,if you get my drift,I couldn't give a heck less about being alone,in fact I love it,and hope you will meet the person of your dreams,or be like me and many others who,to put it in the words of Rhett Butler,"Frankly don't give a hoot!"
It’s natural to feel that way. You came a long way on your own. Close support is not there. Over time you will find friends, then you will realize your list of friends will reduce to a few because they will be your true friends. But overall you must focus on you, your health, your career, your happiness. Stay focused ,be calm. Don’t sweat the small things.
Glad you're feeling better, Dasha. We need the bad days to understand the value of the good days. Here's hoping they're just around the corner for you.
I was just thinking today that I haven't heard from Dari for a while, I hope she is doing OK. Sounds like you are just at a temporary low point . Just don't overdo or overthink anything for a while and you will soon be fine again. Get well soon!
No worries.....Loneliness,or at least,FEELING loneliness,is something we ALL go through--it`s just another human experience, that`s all.......absolutely normal to be lonely at times............
Hi Dari, So good to see your video. Yes, it is temporary. (This Loneliness Feeling). Perhaps Intermittent. Especially with a Busy Schedule. The Weather, Diets, Sleep or Lack of. Your soup Look Great and I would think help A Lot towards feeling better. It's ok to feel sad.. A Common Emotional Sense. Feel Good Knowing you have a Big UA-cam Family. Take Care Dari.
Sorry that you have been sick and lonely feeling Dari. Couldn't your room mate help you when you were sick? Perhaps he is very busy also and could not help? None the less, underneath it all you have a good attitude and you've done so many things and accomplished so much. You are an inspiration to many of us - I hope you know that. All the best to you as this year moves along.
Thanks for sharing! I'm glad you're feeling better but watch out for a return of arctic cold in mid February. It comes back around in waves. Looking forward to your Colombia video.
12:44 there use to be an old tv series based in NY city and it always ended with their signature line, "There are eight million stories in the naked city. This has been one of them."
Don’t be too hard on yourself for taking your winter break to relax at home and binge watch TV. Self-care is important, and you have gone through so many big changes over the last several months and going nonstop. Sometimes you have to pause and take care of yourself. As for loneliness, it looks like you’re already making friends, but it does take time to establish yourself in a new place. Give yourself some credit, you’re doing a great job adjusting to your new surroundings.
You should do a documentary on the decline of America. Everything is in decline from the value of the dollar to the decay of the inner cities to the education system.
I'm so sorry you feel lonely :( I'm an American and lived in France for 2 years so understand. I also wanted to give some advice. Are there student clubs you can join at your university? This is a good way to make friends. Also, do you have any family who wants to visit you for a bit? If so, I recommend travling other parts of the US with them-like Hollywood, Washington, D.C., New Orleans. Also please go home for the Summer break. Also, look for an apartment with roommates who are Russian, or at least European. This could help a lot! Mostly, know that you can just leave university and go home at any time. I hope you start to make authentic, loving connections with people. The LGBTQ+ community is strong in the U.S. so if you are LGBTQ definitely join a club and people will take care of you.
On a positive note: I am not sure how well your Spanish is doing, but your American English has been better and better over time. I can measure this because I no longer need subtitle help during your vlogs 😂 I'm mostly joking - it was only ever a word or two every now and then. I hope you are feeling better! Keep seeking out friends like you did when you first started at St Johns. I know some were only there the first semester, but I hope some have returned again after the holiday break😊
Hi Dari! Good to see another video from you, I've missed you. It's great you were able to bounce back so quickly. I guess our wimpy American viruses can't stop a strong Russian woman.))) That collectibles store made me wonder if you get homesick very often? And don't worry, hopefully spring will come early and be worth waiting for. Take care of yourself!
Good quality fresh garlic - a bulb eaten whole in one go - daily until you recover. Allicin is the active ingredient. If needed, an apple or some fleshy fruit with it to ease digestion. Parsley for any garlic breathe issue if needed. Natures antibiotic and immune booster that consistently has worked wonders for me. Vitamin C, liquids, clear hot soup, lots of rest, keep warm. Hope you get well soon.
Great video! I love to see how other people live their day-to-day life. I've been learning spanish for 10 years or so. Mi lugar favorito de visitar es la ciudad de mexico. Tiene la mejor comida en el mundo!
It can often be the same here in the UK. Modern life happens at such a fast pace and people areunable to cope with that. They have to stop and let the world spin without them for a while.
In spring when the birds are singing and the beautiful flowers blooming you'll get over your winter blues.
What yore feeling is absolutely normal. You’ll make more friends as time goes on and you can never get bored in NY! Stay well and take care. ❄️⭐️❄️
Hope so!!
You took a big leap moving to a new country. Totally understandable to feel lonely, especially without family close by. You’re lucky to be vlogging your experience. In 20-30 years you can look back at these videos with fond memories!

Hey Dari, we love you!. You are actually looking younger in this video.
Privet Miss "Sunny Soul":
Just checking in with you. I hope you are feeling well and strong now. It had snowed last night in my west coast area and I thought I should drop by for a couple of lines. I hope your classes went well this week and look forward to your positive and uplifting content. I wish you well and continue to dissipate those shadows with your light! Take care.
Thank u 💫
There's definitely a lot of loneliness, I have found, especially when you are low on money and starting school in the city. For myself I went to school years and am trying to get back into the swing of things, now getting into my first o2ne bedroom apartment. Definitely a learning experience for sure.
Spring may be arriving a bit early this year! Glad that you are feeling better Dari! Perhaps the university has a clinic for students? Be well ! 😃
Thanks for the the great video:)
Paul Tillich said something very wise about being, or feeling, alone:
"Our language has wisely sensed these two sides of man’s being alone. It has created the word “loneliness” to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word “solitude” to express the glory of being alone."
Being alone is an opportunity to get to know ourselves better, and become more of ourselves. Hope you are feeling better.
You should be very proud of what you have achieved. I'm proud of you.
Love from Scotland 🏴 ❤
Thank you so much! Loved the quote 👏🏼
Spring in NY is coming. It is a wonderful time of year and it will lift your spirits. Something to look forward to!
Sorry to hear that 🥲
I hope you are feeling better soon.
I'm sorry to hear that you felt overwhelmed.
Thanks!!
Glad you're feeling better again. Just remember, bad days are not a failure, they're normal part of the journey. It's very inspiring to see you drive your own success like this. Good luck the coming weeks!
Thank you so much 🙏🏼
Glad you are feeling better. It's tough being sick and then alone as well. You are so outgoing that I am sure you will have many friends. Good luck with your classes, They sound hard. I've had spinal issues lately and feel a bit isolated from friends and coworkers, but I do have my husband.
Sorry to hear that 🥲
I enjoy your honesty. You seem to be going through what I call winter catarrh, totally normal and temporary and spring will bring new life.
Loneliness sucks. But. It's safer than the alternative. Getting into relationship drama that can derail you.
Just remember you working for the woman you going to be. Stay grinding for your future self.
Your future husband and future kids are counting on you.
As we say shit happens can't let it get to you because can't control everything. Hope you feel better soon.
Love the pain. Love the melancholy. Makes the joys of life feel that much more wonderful. Looking forward to your continued perseverance 💪🏻⭐
I hope so! Thank you 😊
After seeing your posted pictures from Columbia, this was not the video I was expecting!
Ahaha thank you so much!
Glad you’re on the mend. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and just hang in there. Life is full of ups and downs, but I’d like to think there are a lot more good days than bad ones. ❤
Thank you so much!
Loneliness is a real problem for many people in the US. Fortunately most people are friendly and if you engage in outside activities you will meet a lot of people some of whom will become your friends.
I discovered that I have what is called a sigma personality. I didn't even know what that was. I'm never lonely, in fact I prefer
to be alone.
You seem a lot happier than you were a year ago.
You are so amazing dari. It is because I watched your videos I feel like I know you. You being lonely makes me sigh
You just need a hug every day.
Everyone does 😂
Loneliness is tough it's also quite common. Hang in there.
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah... deeeep breath... ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
OMG! I'm so sad you had such bad luck and then got sick, but it's just hilarious the way you portrayed it 😅
My apologies, I'm a horrible person 🙈
In times when everything fails (or just SNAFU) you can choose to laugh or cry 🙂🙃
I must say that the thumbnail photo, episode headline and intro was superbly done and presented, LOVE IT 😍🤩
Art is a gift that I have yet to recieve... so I'll take your word for it 🤔
Loneliness is understandably a very unpleasant feeling.
My very best wishes for your speedy recovery and looking forward for the next episode
More a really immature person 🤗 Express your vulnerability and life only gets better for you
This sort of video is why I admire you so much.
Glad you like them!
Big city life. The world is changing fast, especially in the u.s. At least you are living to the fullest! At least you can say youve done it all!
Ahah true
Great video Dari! But do not suffer of melancholy! You are always so full of joy! Spring is just around the corner and everything will turn into a positive perspective. Dari we are always very happy to see that you are fine! Try to hold on, knowing that at the end of your studies you will have a lot of satisfaction! Wow Spanish language! I admire you very much. You are a model for young people. Wish you everything you wish. Take care❤⭐️❤️
Thanks a lot Gabriella 🫶🏼
Hey Dari, once again you show us that everything in life has its ups and downs and you remind us that we are not alone. Thank you ❤. It will get better for sure ❤. I wish you for the best. I am sending you a virtual hug to feel better ❤.
Thank you Em ❤️
You were messing up and forgetting things because you were not well. And, this season, for some reason, everybody seems to be getting sick. Don't feel bad about not being in such a good state right now. It's been so dark and gloomy - not inspiring. I will say some prayers for you in hope things will turn around. Every day we are one day closer to spring! I love your video! Take care.😊❤
Thank you 🙏🏼
Get well soon, Dari.🙂
Privet Dari:
Thank you for this video!
Take care!
Thank you so much a kind comment 😊💫
You're welcome, my pleasure.@@DariStep
Yes, big city life can be that way, as in the title
Hi Dari ,glad your feeling better, stay strong, look after yourself and take care
Thank you 🙏🏼
You are one brave lady to do this. Relocate for studies so far from familiar surroundings. Spring in NY will come soon and you'll have to go to Bronx Botanical gardens for the Spring renewal. Winter is always the hardest part in any cold climate. Be well. From Florida Best wishes.
It's called Murphy's law (when everything goes wrong). But it does not happen often.
Great to see you again, Dari! Happy that you are feeling better. Another great Vlog. Take care. ❤️
Thank you! You too!
@@DariStep 😊
Thank you so much for the tips and kind words 🤞🏼
Thank you 🙏🏼
I’m glad you are feeling better. Warm weather will be here soon.
Dari - you are so, so amazing!
Take your time, slow down, and drink some tea also, it helps with the stress
Great advice.
Try listening to the song: "The Streets of London".
Glad you are feeling better.
I take my hat off for your courage to work in Ghana! Strange food and languages indeed!
A hug a day keeps the loneliness away.
Thanks for your support 💫
I hope you're feeling better. these we'll pass. Take care dear Dari!
Thank you 😊 you too!
True! Thank you 😊
Cheer up! You are the most beautiful and wonderful girl I have seen in the vlogs today
I was just thinking today that I haven't heard from Dari for a while, I hope she is doing OK. Sounds like you are just at a temporary low point . Just don't overdo or overthink anything for a while and you will soon be fine again. Get well soon!
Thank you William ☺️
No worries.....Loneliness,or at least,FEELING loneliness,is something we ALL go through--it`s just another human experience, that`s all.......absolutely normal to be lonely at times............
I wish you were by me near Philly. I could be your adoptive American mamma! My kids are your age.
New York City is...New York City.
But welcome to the neighborhood, from not far away =)
It was smart of you to take care of yourself. Yes NY can be lonely. And you're right time will help.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Sorry that you have been sick and lonely feeling Dari. Couldn't your room mate help you when you were sick? Perhaps he is very busy also and could not help? None the less, underneath it all you have a good attitude and you've done so many things and accomplished so much. You are an inspiration to many of us - I hope you know that. All the best to you as this year moves along.
Probably he could but sometimes you just don’t want to ask but to people take actions to do something for you 😌
In the northeastern US, rest assured you're not alone when it comes to staying inside come January. Tell yourself, spring is just around the corner!
Thanks for sharing! I'm glad you're feeling better but watch out for a return of arctic cold in mid February. It comes back around in waves. Looking forward to your Colombia video.
Not waiting for that cold 🥶
@@DariStep it's probably worse in Moscow on average.. but in Moscow you can access the metro from inside buildings and don't even need to go outside.
Thank you a lot 🙏
You should do a documentary on the decline of America. Everything is in decline from the value of the dollar to the decay of the inner cities to the education system.
I love snow! What about you?
Big hugs 🤗
It's Ok! 🤗 Thanks ❣️
Wishing you the best!
Thank you!!
Thanks!!
January is really the worst part of the year. I hope you're feeling better.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Take care of yourself!
ahaha I do miss Moscow and my friends from there time to time :)) Thank uu
