Ooh, the view from the Empire State Building. The view from the top of the Freedom Tower. Strawberry Field in Central Park. Take a circle line type tour (Booze Cruise) and video that. The best Pizza in NYC (No hints, you'll have to find it), In Town in South Hampton, The Vinyards on the north shore of Long Island. The ferry ride to Shelter Island, the view from the last bridge looking out of Riverhead (North Hampton), Picking Pumpkins on Eastern Long Island (That will be over soon, it's almost Halloween), Self picking strawberries on the Island next year, The ferry ride to or from Connecticut, The ferry ride to or from Orient Point, Kayaking on the Carman's River, Firefly Field in Wertheim Wildlife Preserve if you can find it, Fire Island especially Ocean Beach in the summer, the view of the Long Island Sound from any of the North Bound bridges and maybe sunset from the tallest building you can access the roof to. For starts. If you want more, just ask again :)

Once they know who you are and how well you represent yourself, Dari, you may have a better shot if a job opening or internship at the business happens to pop up. The freedom of being able to choose any of all 50 states and at least a dozen territories as one's domicile and work/livelihood abide is why "living in the U.S.A." is attractive. The U.S.A. is a lot more integrated than the E.U. in a few very important areas: national defense, interstate commerce, federal governance, and jurisdiction. The Columbian version of integration rolls together NATO, the Schengen Area, European Council, European Union, etc. but preserves the 50 states' sovereignty minus the state powers *DELEGATED* to the nation government to carry out and enforce. There are conflicts between states and the federal government, too, and these are fought in the multilevel court system. It's why the having-already-been-rigged-for-decades-by-the-Republicans judicial system can unravel the U.S.A. with corruption at the highest judicial levels. 😢

I was shocked when you said that this was the best summer ever! From the videos that you posted, it seemed that everything that could go wrong did. I have a strong faith in God and I pray every night before I sleep. I included you in my prayers more than a few times this summer. I guess that it is true that one person’s dream life could be another person’s nightmare? Anyhow, I am happy for you and I pray that each year that you live continues to be the happiest in your life.
If you decide to stay in the US to work, you should think about possibly moving to less expensive areas. For example in the south, such as Houston, is much cheaper than New York or California. Anyway, I'm glad things are working out for you.
There's no beating to living near a huge body of water to temper temperature extremes. I have younger generations' "blood" relatives living in California but New York was our "beachhead" where we as new immigrants set foot and staked our fort.
For your Russian/Ukrainian audience: anything about how you've done what you've done (visas, internships, getting into a university program, etc.) would do well I'd imagine. For your American audience: it's extremely difficult for people from a particular country to realize what seems interesting/weird/good/bad/etc. to a foreigner, so anything along those lines will do well (that's the sort of thing I'm interested in). Try getting even more specific, i.e. not just "what surprised me as a foreigner" but "what surprised me as a Russian, here's what specifically is notably different from how it is in Russia". Best of luck, I admire your persistence and work ethic. If you want to stay here then you need to focus (medium-term) on doing whatever it takes to get permanent residence, a.k.a. a "green card". That probably means a good, permanent career, so getting the right job should probably be your top medium-term priority.
Blame the state department. It’s been really bad with paperwork as the whole Mexico border situation has just been crazy. They can’t process asylum claims fast enough. Take a day or two to do absolutely nothing but think about what you want to do once you graduate. The job market is packed and you’re going to have to think what do I do next. Go somewhere with no people like the roof of your building and sit and think. Most college students once they get to their last year do this exact thing of going somewhere quiet and just think about their future. I’ve done it myself. You come up with a lot of realizations. You have to figure out what is next for yourself and what do you want to do next. After that you figure out what are the steps to get to that goal.
If you’re looking for a job or internship try the Orlando area in Florida as the financial institutions are definitely hiring. It’s the same institutions just the fast paced lifestyle isn’t there and there aren’t as many people vying for the same job. It’s easier down here. Technically chase is down here but like one location in downtown. It’s how I managed to intern at the NBC affiliate for a semester as literally I was the only intern there, oddly enough. This is why I like the tv studio better as the sound room seems cramped and not for me.
Dari, not to get too political, but definitely prepare yourself for some potentially turbulent times here in the U.S. as election season ramps up heading into November 5th and more than likely beyond. This is the most important election since the Civil War in the mid 1800's in many ways, and that is not being hyperbolic. The stakes are so very high and our future path as a country is on the line (not to mention what it could mean for the world as a whole). So, I will repeat... buckle up because it could be a VERY bumpy ride this time around.
What would you like me to film in NYC? 😊

Honestly I didn’t really like Orlando when I visited it so definitely wouldn’t like to live in the city 🥲
