I've really enjoyed making these videos and appreciate the support, i had no idea there would be so many people interested in this! I expected like 20 views on the first one to be honest. Now I'm not a 50 year old British guy, I'm like 21, and not a very strong narrator, so I use text to speech for these videos. Some people are not fans of this narration method, which I understand, it's imperfect and impersonal. So from now on I'll record any videos like this with my real voice. I've appreciated the overwhelming support and positive feedback.
What text to speech do you use? I think it's really good and i don't mind it. (but i understand if people do)
yeah i seriously had no idea it was ai, like seriously it sounds extremely realistic. and it would be great if you could make future videos with your own voice, but maybe could you redo this video with your own voice? if maybe enough people like the non ai videos?
Have to say for younger guy you are really giving padawans real schooling, respect.
👍
Great vid!
Male, 44.
It sounds so realistic that I can't tell.
Finding things i’ve never seen or heard before on this channel. Love this channel keep up the great work.
These videos are incredibly interesting and insightful, it's astounding how 30 years on there still seems to be so much material to uncover from Nirvana, Kurt was truly a prolific creator.
When Krist said "The landlord is a piece of shit from hell.", I felt that deep in my soul.
Hahaha me too!
mines pretty hot n sweet. Neighbors thoooo....ooo boy..
...i feel ya tho. Cant even find a tiny home morally priced.
9:44 the cigarette burn when he put it out on his forehead to spite Courtney
Oh shit the bassline in the jam with Dave on bass is the thing they do during the "and a twist of lemon" interview.
How did you even notice that 😭😭🙏🙏
That clip lives in my brain@@m4ke_yourself
What’s the time marker?
@@HUSHMONEYBANDits the one they start talking about at about 6:16 ish.
I found out about your channel with the nirvana unreleased songs video and it was really great. I really like your videos and I am excited for what ever you make.
The Evergreen jam has the same B7 riff as Serve the Servants
I saw an interview with him in Ny in 92 where he said he was having trouble coming up with new song ideas. Dude was definitely having writers block going into In Utero and started to recycle
some song ideas. I’m 99.99 percent sure that had Nirvana continued Dave Grohl would have started to contribute to the songwriting significantly to relieve the pressure off of Kurt
loving this channel, keep up the great work!!
Love this channel! Real fing real! I love hearing the unknown and rare everything on Nirvana. Instead of all this consistent Conspiracy Theory. I dont believe that crap and this is WORTH watching!!!! Dude.....never stop your channel...please!!!!!
8:29 The very end of the credits to Montage of Heck actually lists all of the songs used in order, where "Come On Death" is named, still a really mysterious song!
I believe the kurt and courtney/hole jam can be found on outcesticide. It's called "it's closing time" or somthin like thet
I think the 'screen' thing might even be a thing where there's an intermission to wait for the tv crew to sort their stuff out. idk.
love the channel, but please stop using the AI voice
Agreed, please stop
if a majority of people don't like it i'll stop but as is, he is a far better narrator than me (despite occasional comping mistakes). i'll make a poll
@@rarestnirvanaNobody likes it. Please stop.
Its AI?
@@kkarhiiv95 it's text to speech, but I write all the scripts and research by hand
This channel rules I’m so glad I found this. Nice work man, also use your real voice like people are saying lol, even if your narration isn’t strong at first you’ll get better at it
thanks! i started these videos for fun with no expectation but the support has been awesome. i'll definitely be using my real voice from now on
The old Nirvana are so loud..still..yiu can't even hear sir Paul😂 brilliant 👍🏻🎸
Love to hear about post Nirvana gigs with J Mascis and Beck.
Im a huge nirvana fan and i know pretty much everything there is about the band but I have NEVER heard or seen ANYTHING from this video its insane
I'm trying to find out if Nirvana ever played in the state of West Virginia since they're are two universities as WVU and Marshall University in Huntington WV. I never got to see them live. Sad.
Wow this was a very informative video! Also, I am astounded by the AI narration. It is convincing indeed!
Dude all the songs where with HIM before dave grohl kurdt been working on those masterpieces sense he was 13
This is where rabbits belong...our little group has always been and always will until...
Hello hello hello
this was way too fun, good share
Great videos, makes me sad that Kurt died so young. He was such a good writer
@19:20 I've been looking at this photo of Kurt for over 30 years and can't get it out of my head; because he looks so healthy (weight) here, unlike any other time I've seen him, and I wonder what was going on in his life which made him appear that way. 😢
...the photo from the Nevermind insert?
@@brandonobrien7239 yes
hahah love the phil elverum reference you threw in ;)
19:45 what's that footage tho?
What is the song in the back the starts at 16:55?
Sounds like "Even in His Youth" but a demo version or maybe live? I could be wrong though.
Loving this channel. Great work. Has it ever been specified how much work Kurt actually managed to do producing The Melvins' Houdini? I've heard that they tried working together for a while and both sides mutually decided it wasn't working, but do we know what stuff they worked on?
Great work with these!
have you talked about the long dave ghrol jam from the in utero session which i can't find any info about?
4:11 Eric is not the bassist of Hole. He is the guitarist. Great video anyway😊
good catch my bad. he was playing bass in these sessions but you're right he plays guitar for Hole, not bass
Unknown #6 is soo good
@ 8:30 when/where was that pic taken? Some say it's late 1994 while others say it's the literal last picture of Kurt alive that's probably
public. The other dude in the picture is Thor I believe? Any clarification and or evidence of the date/location etc of this picture would be highly appreciated!
Not 8:30 but 18:31 . I can't edit my comment for whatever reason.
*** Sheesh. I meant late 1993 not 1994 obviously! Haha.
When/where was the pic # 18:24 taken? Looks like 1994 shortly before his death. Any clarification or evidence of it's origin would be really appreciated!
Love your channel keep it up! More excuses for me not to revise for my Gcses❤
I've never been a big fan of Nirvana however I have seen the crime scene photos of the supposed suicide scene. The photos are online for anyone to see & it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out it wasn't a suicide. The most obvious thing is the shotgun they claim was used. On top of it having at a minimum of a 30" barrel there was a compensator on the end of the barrel that was at least 6" in length. He would've had to have used a pencil to have reached the trigger. He was also left handed yet "shot himself" right handed. No I wasn't looking at a backwards negative either, I am quite familiar with firearms. Another thing that I found odd was his left hand was down by his side with a clinched fist so how in the hell did he even hold the shotgun to begin with? How they determined it was a suicide is beyond me. There's even a few photos of a detective holding the shotgun I'm guessing back at the police station & the barrel might even be longer than the 30" I'm guessing, it's fucking too long for that man to have used. I'm not underestimating the lengths someone would go to to end their life but this just doesn't add up after seeing those photos
what a silly thing to say. you're silly
@@rarestnirvana look at the photos moron & come back & tell me just how silly my observations are
yeah i've seen them. you're still incredibly silly. in fact you may be even sillier than previously thought.
let me guess, Courtney did it?
@@rarestnirvana I think you're full of shit about seeing any of the photos I've mentioned. I wouldn't have the first clue as to who killed him. Never was a fan of Nirvana, couldn't even positively point out Courtney in a line up & who calls someone silly unless they're flirting with them?
I'm done with this conversation
@@user-clayrush so silly
why did he hate pearl jam?
i like pearl jam, but kurt has said they are "corporate puppets that are just trying to jump on the alternative bandwagon"
i think he could be a bit of a snob sometimes
There is an “unreleased” track that was floating around for ages and was HEAVILY disputed and eventually confirmed fake, it was a heavy riff with a ton of reverb on the vocals. Used to have a blue background oldschool youtube song upload (lyric video?) but i can’t for the life of me find it. Can ANYONE help me find the shit?
Is that the one where's "dum-di-dit-dudum"-drmbeat? It's not real Nirvana.
But have here "Tge Priest They Called Him" -Cobain/W.S.Burroughs-collab where Burroughs read his text and Cobain use overdrive/noise and familiar christmas-tune?
I have it on c-cass and quality is ex- and I can remaster that.
Maybe ƳṬ even let that stay here if I seek that one and digitalize it. I had no +40mins time now.
@@acmemasteri i THINK that’s the one; I know it’s not real Nirvana, but it’s been stuck in my head for the past like 5 years and I can’t find the damned thing. Do you remember what it’s called?
This is great❤
Hola ! Que interesante, por favor me gustaría la traducción al español en subtitulos, gracias!
Got the boxset when it dropped i was 13 life changing
Heya love the channel but I’d find it better if you didnt use the Ai voice
Yer aye!
I love how fans go crazy for recordings of Kurt just mumbling nonsense into an 8-track.
sigh, if only ''Bathtub'' was a real side project from Kurt & Tobi
How do you find this stuff man I thought I heard all of Kurt’s demos plz point me into the direction bc what that means for me is that I can archive the stuff on physical media so just in case any of it gets lost I will have the backups
The angel with broken wings
9:40 I was not expecting that at all lol
Sweet!
If you didn't know lithium was pre dave, you don't know nirvana that well
Evergreen College Spring-Break, uh?! Namastè.
Its sold the world?
Yeah rough musicï
I wrote "Screen" because Kirk thought big ofva Jimbo Jumbo Johnz n' I appreceeate dat.

Kurt Cobain song Screen
I don't think there's any real evidence to point towards this being Screen. Love the track though

I hate Pearl Jam

I love the rewritten history of Nirvana compared to the actual history I lived through. Criminally overrated
i'm happy to take any feedback about what i got wrong, hell i wasn't alive when Kurt died. i do my best with these videos to stick to verified facts, and be clear when I'm speculating. I use livenirvana.com for a good amount of my research
Most of this stuff is random garbage but because it's Nirvana/kurt Cobain associated people lap it up.
