  • Hi everyone!
I went on a small work trip to Lome in Togo the other week. I've never spoken this much French in my life! Visiting Togo has been on my to-do list for a while, and it was so great to see it in person! Since I was there for work, I did not get to explore as much as I wanted to. So I plan on taking a personal trip there again.
Even though I went by flight, for anyone in Ghana planning a trip to the Togo, I recommend getting there by car instead. It is just a tad bit longer but much more affordable as flight prices are very high. It’s also visa free for Ghanaians.
The city was absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to return there again.

Many thanks for this very good video, furthermore you are so cute.
Félicitation également pour votre Français, avec un très bel accent 😍

This was so intimate and nice and relaxing. I was cheesing so much, especially when you were sharing your time in Togo; and when you were proud for ordering food "en francais". The sound was a bit low, but it made it all the more soothing and intimate. Can't wait to see you blog more often. Way to go!!!

So glad I came across your video. Im american and possibly will be going to lome this december for a wedding. Kind of nervous because Im a new flyer and never been to the continent of Africa. If anyone has any tips as far as what to bring, what to look out for, how to dress (big one lol) etc that would be so appreciated🙏🏾🙏🏾!

The people there are very friendly. Knowing how to speak French is a big plus because they’ll speak French if you understand or not. Google Translate helps a lot. The weather is mostly sunny. I think in December it will be the harmattan season so you have to have some oil or shea butter to avoid dry skin. And Vaseline/lip balm to avoid cracking of your lips. There’s no restrictions on how to dress. The city is quite small but you can find a lot of nice places to go to. And they have nice beaches. I hope this helps, enjoy your trip! 😊

The sound is poor. Voice is too low and background music too loud. 👎🏾
