One thing no one mentioned is that, for Amorim, the center back in the center has to be the best header in the team, or one of the best. In Sporting that guy was Sebastian Coates. He scored 15 goals under Amorim leadership. 15 goals! A center back! This happened because when a game was ending and Sporting needed to score a goal to win, Coates often became a striker. It was all or nothing with that guy as a striker and it payed of a lot of times. To this day, Amorim still talks about Coates and how important he was for the team.
