Using our muscles to control things is the way that most of us are accustomed to doing it. We push buttons, pull levers, move joysticks... but what if we could take the buttons, levers and joysticks out of the equation and control it with our muscles? The MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor is an Arduino-compatible, all-in-one electromyography (EMG) sensor from Advancer Technologies that allows you to do just that! The MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor has been redesigned from the ground up with a new easy-to-use, compact design and upgraded with the latest and greatest chipset improving sensor performance and reliability. The innovative snap connector system eliminates the need to solder connections for the MyoWare 2.0 ecosystem. It's that easy: stick on a few electrodes (not included), read the output voltage and flex some muscles!

This is the best product endorsement I have ever seen
For those of you who aren’t steeped in the art of presentation and video production; the level of teamwork, imagination and trust required to pull this off is impressive🏅
Someone is well versed in the art of montage😎
might be the best demo of a product ever...
I got interested in these sensors since a friend of mine ended up quadriplegic after an incident. But regardless, this is the most entertaining clip you have produced, by far. I really enjoyed it!
I don't usually watch these things but boy was that entertaining. Kudos to the whole SFE team and to Rob in particular. And as some others have said, the production value alone of the montage was superb.
The cadbury eggs and drawing of the circuit. XD
That made my day, Rob! In addition to the technical issue of powering the sensor board via a wall outlet, there is a safety issue as well. I would not want electrodes on either side of my body with an insufficiently isolated copper connection to 120V AC. So keeping the sensor board battery powered is an excellent idea for several reasons. Isolated USB power sounds good but I would personally prefer battery powered. Now to add Cadbury eggs as part of my weight training regimen!
Absolutely. If you can avoid running wires from a mains power supply (120V AC or 220V AC in Europe and other areas) to your body, that's always going to be best practice. Three ways I found to get serial feedback for debugging of fine tuning ranges are 1)Snapping the LED Shield into the muscle sensor - won't give exact output numbers but you can see if the sensor is reading increased flexion, 2)Adding an LCD screen for output. I used one of our Qwiic LCDs, it allowed feedback while still remaining battery powered, and 3)Using the wireless setup that I used in the video, the basics of which are shown in our hookup guide.
Haha. Perfect mix of April Fools and not April Fools. Thanks :D
love the montage - especially slamming the raw cadbury egg yolk - thanks for making the info fun and digestible for diy nobs
Came for the MyoWare, stayed for the showmanship
Rob is the best. Gotta love the guy lol
Excellent montage.
This is gold
Awesome. Simply awesome. I'm a career electrophysiologist and am going to set something like this (or this) for my gym.
Excellent video!!!
this is the best ad ive ever seen
The best and most creative product demonstration ever ... awesome!!!
The BEST Rocky EVER!!!!
Greeeeaaatttt!
Trying to make the drumming session is more effective as a workout than boxing.
To pull off a TerryCrews, you gotta address yourself in the 3rd person - So ask yourself this: Does Rob love Yogurt?
Badumm. Tsss.
Love the video and super excited to try the new sensor for a student!
You are truly a renaissance man lol. Awesome video - thanks for making it as entertaining as it is informative.
Great & Sparking the Fun for all of us with this video. Amazingly instructive too.
This cracked me up! Great video 😆👍
The way you imagine to show, was awesome
Nice , you make my day .
hahahahaah that's right, he has no shame at all, and we love it!!!
So much twerking potential
For the algo! Awesome!
I like Sparkfun .
The montage 😊👍
Sweeeeeeeeeeet
Legend!
So can I use one to read muscle tension in my body.. So it would read if a muscle is in tension but I can not feel it.. Bit like a pressure gauge..
What are the dimensions of the snap electrode connector? Would a 3.5 mm stud fit the Myoware?
how much power do i need to power up 6 sensors at the same time?
Ladies, form an orderly queue!!
This man knows how to sell.
Why are myoware 2.0 sales currently on pause?
I came here for serious engineering content and I'm laughing so hard right now 🤣😆
lol :-)
I had a stroke 42. Biceps, calf, forearm one extra... Please help.
😀👍
Super!!!!! JAJAJAJA
404 - shame not found 😅
