Disney had the budget and influence in Anaheim to tear down half of DCA and build a real land instead of a placeholder, but god forbid. That land has been in development for a few years, COVID cannot be an issue either. This ride uses the same screens and slower pace, but at least it FEELS more exciting with awesome sets and stellar comic book visuals. Thanks Universal, you’ve been upping your game since this ride came out.
The ride also feels like you're... well... going along for a ride rather than being some weird outside spectator who is given a cheap participation trophy.
Dude, this ride reminds of when I was little and would watch the 90’s show with my mom. Me and my mom got to ride it and it was such a good vibe for both of us. It actually made my mom tear up since I’m getting older and it reminded her of how little I used to be. The whole Marvel Superhero Island area of Universal was my favorite area, because it was based on the 90’s cartoons and comics, which lets be honest was the best era for superheroes. This was my favorite 3D ride there and one of my favorite rides there in general. The music was 90’s too, which was awesome! 👌
Does anybody know where I can find the full theme song that starts at 3:56 that’s basically a remix of the 60s show? It sounds awesome but I can find it anywhere other than POV ride videos like this one.
Don't understand how that ride turned into a copy of Toy Story Mania after the positive feedback from Rise of the Resistance. They could have done so much more with Web Slingers, major disappointment. Hope the Quinjet E-ticket ride is more impressive....
Wow! The motion screen dark ride is better than the shooting gallery?? I wouldn’t have guessed? Literally we knew what the ride was going to be for Disneyland since day 1 of its announcement. Why is this surprising?
I remember going on this ride with my two boys when they were 4 and 5. They are now 23 & 24. College graduates. My oldest and my husband went on the ride 11 more times after the first ride. It was such a great ride and I can still remember the water spray, the heat and spider man “talking” to us. What a great memory. Thank you for sending this to me son! 🥰
Wow the Spiderman ride at Islands of Adventure makes the Spiderman ride at California Adventure look like a ride for babies! Fighting the villains is way more fun than shooting Spider-Bots. DISNEY NEEDS TO CLOSE THE RIDE AND BRING IN NEW IMAGINEERS BECUASE IT SUCKS!
I don't know what the Imagineers were thinking. Do they really think people are going to have fun "shooting" a bunch of random robots? At the very least include some of the rogues gallery. Disney's version is just another uncreative cash grab of a "ride"

👏👏 Agreed!
So many loving memories of my childhood from that ride, I still drop tears when I see videos of it
It’s so good. 🤩
@@ThemeParkGroupie it is!!
The music was dope too!
I remember the old ride too. I lived in Florida my whole life. The update was pretty cool. I've rode this ride at least 100 times.
It's so good! 🤩
Yeah, they’re just killing lately!
Soooo good. 🤩
Does anybody know where I can find the full theme song that starts at 3:56 that’s basically a remix of the 60s show? It sounds awesome but I can find it anywhere other than POV ride videos like this one.
Let me know when you find out. 😅😅
Omg the nostalgia.
For real. ❤️🕷
@@ThemeParkGroupie Yup. ❤️
Who is here after seeing how bad Disney's Spider-Man ride turned out?
Don't understand how that ride turned into a copy of Toy Story Mania after the positive feedback from Rise of the Resistance. They could have done so much more with Web Slingers, major disappointment. Hope the Quinjet E-ticket ride is more impressive....
Me! Never been to either but just by watching I can see the difference
@@NVDath speculation is it's a Smugglers run reskin
How can they immediately go from Rise of the Resistance to this new ride?? 😩
@@NVDath doesn’t rise break down often?
Wow! The motion screen dark ride is better than the shooting gallery?? I wouldn’t have guessed? Literally we knew what the ride was going to be for Disneyland since day 1 of its announcement. Why is this surprising?
Exactly. 👏
One of the greatest theme park rides ever made
It's super fun!
3:17 Doc Octopus can't be as smart as he claims he is putting Hydroman and Electro as tag team partners.
🤣 So true. Never thought of that.
I have no idea why, but I never truly feel like Im at the Universal Florida parks until I ride THIS ride. It's so good.
It’s just the best! 🤩
Rip stan lee the person who inspired everyone
Thank you for replying creator of the video
Yes, he did. 😕 R.I.P.
I got highlighted
My dad brought me here every year, we used to get on this ride first... Every.....Single....Time.
It’s so good! 🤩
Very cool. What a great memory!
That hobgoblin pumpkin bomb effect was so mind blowing when I first rode it way back in the day. Still is haha
Haha! I know! It’s so perfectly timed. 😳
I like that over the years they've improved the visuals
I agree! Their update was well needed and well appreciated. 🤩
2:33 I always loved this part.
It’s so good. 🤩
Probably beside Rise of the Resistance the best ride on this planet! Love it!
RotR is pretty great. 🤩🙌
How can they immediately go from Rise of the Resistance to this new ride?? 😩
@@ThemeParkGroupie I don't know but the new Spiderman ride at DCA is a big fail.
@@ThemeParkGroupie When I finally got to ride Rise of the Resistance last month, it became my new favorite Disneyland ride. I expected Web-Slingers to be awesome.
This ride couldn’t get any better
It’s so good! 🤩🤩
Who’s here after the disappointing Disney ride
Me
Me
What disappointing Disney ride
🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
1:18 *me and the boys meme intensifies*
it's funny how stan lee appears not only once but twice, it's a funny detail
He actually appears more than that! 🤣 So many Stan Lee appearances.
Do you need VR glasses for this ride?
Universal Orlando has no VR attractions, but you do in fact need a pair of 3D glasses that are provided before you get on the ride. 😎
Disney cannot hold a candle to this ride
🤣 For real
This still holds up today. Better than the Transformers, Gringotts, and Simpsons rides.
👏👏👏 Agreed!!
Oh yeaaaaaaaaaah.
Years later, how the heck is this amazing ride more technologically advanced than Kong? All that's going for Kong is a giant animatronic head. #longlivespiderman
Yeah, you’re right about this. Lol. Spot on.
Just got back from Universal! This was on my top 3 lists of the best rides! This is my mom’s favorite ride here! Glad i chose universal over disney.
Yeah, Universal stands over Disney IMO. 💯
@@ThemeParkGroupie totally.
Hopefully Disney someday makes a Venom vs Carnage Ride Similar to this and a Into the Spiderverse Roller Coaster
Oh my word! That would be amazing.
Best sensory spiderman experience ever ‼️
I'm autistic, and very rarely do I unmask, but this was so well made that it managed to do that for me!
It’s so great!! 🙌
This will always be way better then the Disney one
For real...
