My mum and I used to go to that children’s bookshop at 08:02 when I was a child in 1999.

@@almafromengland8697 I used to go to Fred Wade bookshop in Halifax as a little lad in 1989-1994 when I looked at Fireman Sam books as I can be a good Fireman Sam being strong and my friend called Chris can be a good Elvis and my dad can be a good Station Officer Steele. LOL.

@@almafromengland8697 Also as I know, young children learn how important safety is of Fireman Sam and I liked Thomas the Tank Engine more when I was 2-6.

Hi Alma, I keep commenting on your videos and my comments keep disappearing, not sure why. I asked how long you had lived in the Huddersfield area? You obviously enjoy it round here.

Dear Andi, I'm really sorry about your comments. I don't know why they dissappear. Your comments make me very happy and positive. I moved to Huddersfield almost 20 years ago, and I'm still fascinated with this town. What about you? Do you live here? What area do you like the most? What place? Huddersfield changed a lot lately. Do you like Beaumont Park or TP Woods??? I would love to know your opinion. Thank you very much for watching my video. Stay safe.♡♡♡

@@andypandy6830 Great memories. Thank you for sharing. I visited Tolson Museum many times, with my students. I used to play the piano there (magic old times). The first piano I had in Huddersfield was made in the organ and piano factory in Water Street, Springwood. The old waterworks building is a significant piece of architecture if you ever stopped to notice it, a piece of the old Huddersfield. I found Springwood cutting interesting, one train disappearing into the tunnel and another onto the Longroyd viaduct. The history of these viaducts and Lockwood viaduct are captivating. I haven't made it to Longwood tower yet. I miss the pies from Mitchell's, since they closed. Do you remember their aroma???? Take care and thank you again for opening the precious box with hidden memories.

The old kirklees college is a memorable year since you posted the video here before it's been demolished the three main tower blocks are finally gone as I drove past on Wednesday
