This is nice for folks that wanna pick something straight off the shelf. In NY you can play by the rules and run a lot of stuff. If you run a mag lock you can have all the “evil” features. Malfunctions suck with a locked mag but it shows how asinine the laws are here bc with the mag loaders I can reload almost as fast as a normal rig. It’s so ridiculous. Gun laws written by people who have no idea
8/1 possession is only the rule for “assault style firearms”. The point here is this model would not be classified as an “ASF” because it does not break the 2 feature test and is not a copycat of an enumerated weapon.
Adding barrel shroud as a scary feature was a ridiculous addition to what was already a ridiculous bill in MA. Those of us in the Commonwealth salute your efforts.
Can't wait to see NY'ers commiefornians, ect start taking care of themselves and rejecting the tyrants running those states. But i guess we all need to do that.
with 870 style stocks being accepted, i wonder if you could have a wooden handguard for that style of upper. a set of wood furniture would probably look interesting
Hello sir, my buddy and I are considering this rifle. There was the Hiccup with the Front rail coming off on the 7.62 dissent. Have you guys changed the way the rail secures to the barrel? Considering that the Charging Handle is attached to the rail? Thank you
We'd have to dive into the minds of our engineers, and it's scary in there sometimes. lol Seriously though, not sure where they may be on that. So much overreach to try and overcome in too many places.
As in stop tempting me! I'm trying to save money here, geesh! Thankfully I live in MO where we're currently still mostly free to keep and bear arms as the founders intended. I do like the BR4, evaluating it for something with more reach than standard 5.56.
Massachusetts has a two feature test under the new law. I’m not from there but I’m 90% sure this would comply with the new assault weapons ban as the only feature would be the shroud
Yeah. They have some pesky wording that we are looking deeper into. It essentially says if it's "based on a banned firearm" in which the other Br4 technically would be banned. Gotta love anti-2A politics. Check out Cape Gun Works. They're one of the FFLs that is still putting up a fight with this too.

I'm interested too. This version should be legal in WA. Ruger 10-22 , ruger mini 14 are still legal in WA. This has no more features than the rugers. Have to wait and see I guess.
These are New York state compliant. If Long Island has any harsher restrictions than the state, you may not be able to. It's very hard to account for every municipality, especially when they get to more local government vs the entire state.

That gun is legal to own in mass! You got rid of the pistol grip and threaded barrel so the only “evil feature” is the hand guard
