That's a lie! They evaluated my whole criminal history. That's way beyond 7 years! You shouldn't lie like that brother!
They did me the same way as well My conviction is past 7 years old and door dash still won't allow me to drive.
I don't think he's lying he can't speak for everyone he don't know anyone else's situation.
I don’t think the 7 years thing is right, I think it has more to do with the crime.
I got accepted to Doordash a couple months after being released from prison, whilst still on parole. But mine were nonviolent offenses that have nothing to do with vehicles, so that could be why.

Yep. I have a non violent felony that happened 13 years ago. Nothing to do with drugs, no sick sexual crimes. I got a residential entry felony while I was in the Army, because i got hammered and I went through my neighbors window thinking it was mine. Doordash went back 13 years, found this felony. The only time I have ever been arrested in my life and they still denied me. So yes doordash goes back more than 7 years. Way more. Thanks for the illegitimate advice.

I don't think he's lying. Some states require that a background check only goes back 7 or 10 years. The thing to do is verify the background check laws in your state.

Doordash Uber Lyft drivers need a investigation every year, update , people's lives are on the line. Dude name John from NYC came to Arizona March 2023, running from warrants in NYC Brooklyn, still doing work for Doordash Ubers and other's. So don't tell me they check for updates.

You should be fine with that. My conviction was seven years old and didnt appear on the background check.

I got denied with a drivers license suspension. It was suspended because I forgot to pay a seatbelt violation 🙄. This was DoorDash. I’m excepted on all other gig driving platforms. How can I get around this for DoorDash?

The seven years starts not at the conviction date but the date you completed your sentence - ie; parole or probation. I am still being denied housing. It’s NOT the conviction date.
Based on these comments I assume I won't be able to work for door dash.

You’d be surprised. A lot of companies are geared towards “Second chance” individuals such as myself. I just got accepted to drive for Uber and I have a semi crime going back 15 years ago. It’s hope for us💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

I'm on withheld adjudication and completing probation next month so I will not be a convicted felon. Hopefully I get cleared

I have a 14 year old felony for $700 in property destruction. While it CAN be expunged, I haven't gotten it done yet. It's good to know this might yet be a solution for those of us with a minor criminal backgrounds, that cause headaches.

Well i will find out if this is a yes or no. I got in alot of trouble in my younger years. I just applied to background check and everything is older than 7 years. My daughter is now 7 and i have not been in any trouble since like a year or 2 b4 that. I could use the xtra money thats for sure. I just got a new car rushing i shouldnt of got the car but now i am stuck. Lol

My dad robbed a bank in 06 and has a few assault charges and went to jail a few time a couple years before and still landed the doordash gig

What about possession with intent (marijuana)
You should be fine if it's pass the seven year mark. However, California has different laws about this. It's best to try for Doordash and see what happens.

From all the years ya been bullshitting talking about "i got denied wah wah wah" ya could've went online and paid a easy 800 to 2k or so and expunge your records. Then ya can what ever jobs ya want but no!!!!

@@zezekz4245 no it depends on the state for instance VA does not allow expungement of felonies based on how the charge is classified that just changed for 2023 before zero felonies could be expunged regardless of time passed #commonwealthstates usually have more extreme guidelines
They went back to 1994 on me to find felonies now my status is consider .that's 27 years ago.lol what a joke.
