    Oh my God, what an unbelievable beard. Few, black, white, or otherwise rock the kind of beard you’ve got. You are genetically blessed and it is clear you take very good care of your hair. One comment, and that is the hair on the very bottom is getting a little wispy and may benefit from a 1” beard trim and square up at the bottom. This seems like it would give it a thicker appearance at the bottom and take away the wispiness. Really you have to do nothing as it is an epic beard, but give my comment a quick thought. Later, and beard on...

      @BeardedExistence  6 років тому

      Warren Timothy thanks!! This video was a long time ago and I did recently cut my beard for the first time in Over 2 years and you are right the trim did seem to make it thicker but I do miss the length Thanks👍🏾👊🏾

      Bearded Existence one more question people always saying that the cold water when washing your beard so like hot or cold? And you know you where saying salt is bad Mumas a hair dresser and she saying that salt make your hair good she said a salts a healer ya know like when your in the sea 🌊

    • @BeardedExistence
      @BeardedExistence  7 років тому +1

      Leon FYaH n crew it's a complicated answer because the ocean can be great for you it's a natural healer and detoxifies your skin can heal wounds, muscles etc but salt also pulls moisture out and over exposure will leave your skin and hair dry. The moisture content of your hair is what protects it and salt will remove that natural moisture. It will cleanse but if your not working really hard to make sure your replacing lost moisture it could be damaging!! Hope this helped!!

  • @justinyoung9861
    @justinyoung9861 7 років тому

    For the growth you have and it's only been a year and more is great. What oils/hair cream do you suggest or materials of a comb to use? I figured it's more so genetics which allows certain beards to grow longer. I've been experiencing some breaking and hair curling up a lot as well.

    • @BeardedExistence
      @BeardedExistence  7 років тому

      Justin Young kent combs are the best for gliding through the beard but they don't make one big enough if your beard is breaking don't comb when dry make sure your beard is damp and oiled before you comb. You also may need to increase the amount of times per week you condition. Aside from my was day I condition about mid week. I mostly make my own oils and balms. I did a video on my favorite oils check it out. Much success on your beard journey 👊🏾✌🏾✌🏾

    You said this is a year with this beard? How on earth did you get this kind of growth? Specifically what are you eating? I didn't notice one hair in your pick or brush. The stalemate I keep having with my beard is hair shedding and breaking. Right now I'm on week 2 of no beard stress from combing.

    • @BeardedExistence
      @BeardedExistence  7 років тому +1

      Dime Slinger yeah I'm at a yr and about 3 months I had a lot of breakage before too! I stopped picking my beard when it was dry and that helped a lot. Check out my video on softening your beard JBCO should help a lot!! 👊🏾✌🏾✌🏾

      fat2 fitt under my neck hasn't really dropped on its own yet either but what works really good is when your beard is wet comb it (underneath) oil it and then braid or twist put something on the ends to hold it (not rubber bands) in the morning take it out oil and comb and you should br good. I notice you didn't touch under your chin at all with the brush or the pick. What do you do with those hairs? I'm asking because the longest hair in my beard is there and it's EXTREMELY coily and I can't seem to train it correctly. I've been twisting it lately and it helps a little, but not much. Plus, when I take them out, I have no idea which direction to brush/pick it lol

      Knot.Perfect heat, dryness and how and what you use to comb your beard could be causing it!! Don't comb your beard when its dry. You may need to try different products that you beard likes more apply your oils when your beard is damp and make sure you apply to the ends. Almond, jojoba and coconut oil helps to prevent split ends. Thanks for watching and much success on your beard journey 👊🏾✌🏾✌🏾

    Hard to keep my beard moisturized mostly my under beard which causes it to break .. how and what do I use to moisturize my beard

    • @BeardedExistence
      @BeardedExistence  7 років тому +1

      nnarcel215 for breakage the beard oil and balm that you use should consist of lavender, rosemary and jojoba oils those are my top picks to stop and prevent breakage. Apply when the hair is damp and try not to comb more than twice a day. Don't use regular commercial shampoos use beard wash and check my video on Jamaican castor oil!! Much success on your beard journey 👊✌️️✌️️

    How do you get your beard hair so straight?

    • @BeardedExistence
      @BeardedExistence  7 років тому

      MrEnriched911 only the hair on my chin is somewhat straight but at this length if I comb and apply my oil and balm when it's damp it helps it to not curl up as tight once it's dry. Thanks for watching bro and much success on your beard journey!!👊✌️️✌️️
