been staying at upp thomson for the past few years, and the roads have finally cleared up over the past couple of weeks. kudos to these ppl who put in the work we never get to see everyday. cant wait for this saturday!!

I can relate it for him since I worked in the field before, it's about the same as a lying inside a shell scrape on a hot night but humidity x10

Been living around here all my life and I have to say this mrt really took a long time to build, esp with the pandemic going on. A lot of local businesses closed down because the construction blocked them from view :( and the pandemic accelerated that too
Sighs, and also this means upper thomson will be more busy because we are filled with cafes, so there will be a lot of ppl coming here 🙃
Despite all of this, I am pretty excited because it will mean easier transportation for me ^^ I loved seeing the whole process and I'm looking forward to its opening!
At least Springleaf prata house has a mrt like Al Azhar at Cheong Chin Nam Road.

When the station is open, Thomson Plaza will be crowded than before
Give and take
Property prices in immediate vicinity of the area will go up = Owners happy
More convenient for people to just go Upper Thomson = Businesses happy
No need pay for shuttle = Thomson Plaza management happy
Uptake in crowd = Dirty massage parlours unhappy but everyone else happy
There's more pros than cons, access to better food is nice but rent increment from becoming a popular area will eventually push businesses away and eventually it'll be filled with shitty big corporate chain food shops.
