Dividing all the measurements by 3.14 shortens the zip and sewing allowance..i just tried it..W-25, zip- 2 sewing -1..total was 28 divided by 3.14 which gave me 8.9..after cutting, i got 25 as the final waist measurement..😢
For a full flare which is 360, we make use of 6.28 for the radius, so because we are working on 180 degree flare, which is half circle, half of 360 ... We make use of 3.142. that is... 6.28/2 is 3.14. that is also 360/2 is 180 degree flare. Hope u understand now
Our waist/girth is like a circle. In math, circle's circumference is 2x(pi)x(r) where pi equals 3.14 and r is the radius of the circle and x is multiplication. So our waist circumference = 2x(pi)xr. This formula is for full 360 degree circle/skirt. Example 2x3.14xradius = 30 inches From this radius = 30 inches divided by 3.14 times 2 R = 30/6.28= 4.28 inces. If you want half/180 degree circle skirt, then You divide the full circle by 2 which is waist circumference =2(pi)x(r)/2.= pi multiplied by 2. In this video, she is making 180 degree circle skirt. Whatever is your waist circumference say 30 inches equal 3.14 times the radius. From this you know Radius=30inches/3.14=9.55 inches. You can round it to 10 inches. If you want to make 90 degree circle skirt, then Your circumference = full circle divided by quarter That is 30 inches = 2(pi)xradius/4 From this radius r = 30x2/3.14 = 19.108 inches. You can round it to 19.12 or even 20 inches. If you want to sew 270 (3/4)deg circle skirt, then Hope this helps.
Nice job. But please work on your pronounciation, google "radius and 180",then listen to how it's being pronounced, and do the necessary correction next time. Thanks, one love.

Well explained, I had difficulty to cut a flare. You make it simple to understand. Thank you.❤
Very straight to the point, good demonstration.
Great!, please I also need tutorial on how to topstitch neck line.
Nice job dear❤
What is the essence of dividing by 3.14? When it's 4 folds?
Thank you so much 🥰
U made it really easy to understand plz do a 360
Thank you for watching.
Noted
How much fabric you needed ?
What do i do if i wanna make a dress out of 180 degrees flare cos it's only one piece?
I have a tutorial on a 180 degrees flare dress coming up next on the channel...

You should add your zipper allowance before dividing by 3.14
Me mine was excess instead what could be the issue @@d.i.ywithchisom237
I couldn’t get my length
But hers is long
My is very short
How did she do it
please show me how to change 360 to 180
What are the measurements
Thank you so much
Why you divide waist circumference by 3.14 can you please explain.
That's the formula
@@d.i.ywithchisom237 can you explain for me
