Those vermilion are tasty if you fry them whole in peanut oil. I find that if you fillet them you end up with dinky filets and lose a lot of meat. Great vid though...looks like yall had fun!
You can sometimes run into stuff but I'm no expert in fishing out there. I know some people bring cigar minnows and ballyhoo frozen or live pogies and mullet. A live pinfish out there would definitely get gulped up. Just about any smaller fish would.
Great Video!
Thank you thank you!
I love sitting at the landing and watching the boats come in and out. Awesome.
❤️
cant wait to move to the east coast, grew up tuna fishing in socal and this kinda fishing is just awesome to me
what a beautiful day out there.
It was spectacular! ☀️🌊
40 is pushing the limits of that little sled
it was glassy this day
Always one that has to throw negativity into the mix. You could have taken a 14 foot jon boat out that day. Great work, keep it up!

Great video how many miles were y’all offshore
Thank you about 40
New sun idk how i havent been subed i swear i hit it first vid
Haha I appreciate it!
Only missed daylight launch by 2 hours!
Lol admittedly that was entirely my fault. Missed my first alarm.
Grunt zila was correct. I would have kept that grunt. Why are you all throwing back the vermilions?
Some of them were just under sized to keep
the offshore can be addicting.. and can get expensive fast.. lol..
Hahaha it can happily take all my money 🤙🎣 too much fun out there!
@@CarolinaShoreFishing wait for your first tuna.... your pockets won't be the same... lol
@@werftv4580 neither will my belly 😂🤙
You said you guys were 40 miles offshore. Why go that far out? It seems kind of unnecessary. You weren't in the Gulf Stream, right?
Correct I think their goal was to find 100' of water but I'm not entirely sure.
How big is that boat?
Can't remember exactly, 26 or 28.
For 40 miles out, those are babies.
Shut up
That sharp nose is great eating! It hurt my feelings when you threw him back. 😥
I was considering it but when we got it up it was a smelly one. I've become sensitive to that ammonia smell. If it's on there I'm not having it haha.
Never catch me that far out with a single engine boat. NOT going to happen.
I hear ya. It was the perfect day for it. Flat calm and smooth offshore. Was much choppier nearshore.
Leave murrells alone
you with the murrells militia or something?
hhahahaha😂😂
