We enjoy your videos! Good info. We are members of Back Country Horsemen and donated $ a couple years ago for them to fix the area with gravel there you were talking about.
Also, it would be super helpful if you could include a photo overview of your hike with waypoints showing the different points of interest. We rode past the wishing well sign once and didn’t take it to the well, wished we had! 👍🏼

Speaking of trail maintenance, someone spray painted their initials in yellow and a date on the rocks right off the trail as it starts to become the rock barrens at Bell Smith mill creek branch trail.

I tried to get to saltpeter cave to camp at the site again but I couldn't find it. We ended up camping at natural bridge instead. I wish I knew where we deviated.
You were really close to the Saltpeter cave!!
watch out for the wild hogs in that area. Piss off the horse people, they think they can go where ever they want
I've heard about the hogs. Haven't seen any yet. I try to get along with all users but I do get annoyed when they make shortcut trails because they're being a little selfish.
@@HikingWithShawn we was coyote hunting on pvt ground down there couple yrs ago when they shut down lusk creek area and the helicopter flush a big boar out into the corn field we was in and they shot it bout 300yrds away from us and I stood up to let them know we was there and it wasn't a few mins later we had rangers and law telling us we had to leave due to them hunting hogs. Told them that was on the shawnee not pvt ground you can't tell us to leave. Last i knew that hog was still laying there since they couldn't get permission to go across pvt prob to get it.
