Here are another two baiões, medleyed together, inspired by Ian’s teacher Marcus Tardelli’s version where he medleys five of Guinga’s great songs in this rhythmic style. Adapting these melodies to the trombone proved an interesting challenge, and the unison of the guitar and trombone in the same register is a nice and unusual texture.
