Ghost, Bewsa, Loop, and Karma are all my favourites. Honestly I could see them all translating to Eurovision. Better than last year for sure. I really miss Aidan and Brooke though. They would've made this selection even better.
Aidan will probably not join MESC any longer after what they did to him earlier this year.

Judging by the recap I quite like Loop, Cloudmaker, Ghost, Bewsa, Empire, Man, Tell me that it's over, Mara, Better off alone, Baraxx, Breaking Bad, Bellus, Karma, Arrows. I think the selection is quite decent that year!

3. Better Off Alone/Numb (rlly could be both theyre not bad but this was prob the strongest semi, all top 5 isnt bad)

2. Sirena (ngl would be top 1 if that girl didnt just went off in the big note at the end, a lil underwhelming)
3. Venom/Karma (rlly could be both again, even if i think venom is a better song ryans voice is rlly good and its sad is getting wasted with these mid songs, o and im not talking about banana that was thraumatizing, but its prob gonna qualify anyway…)
What do i even say i rlly think the clear 3 with the most potential are Loop/Mara/Breaking Bad and all of them would need some kind of lil revamp, this last heat was a lil underwhelming for the most part maybe only “Breathing” stands the chance as my winner cause damn that girl sings insanely well and the song is a nice ballad (with still needed revamp but anyway), sirena is rlly nice at this point but same competing gender with the top 3 and is not the best option, anyway malta dont mess it up this year yall have 3 great songs with qualifying chances and i will just be happy with whoever wins from these, cant wait to see who qualifies/wins! :3

thank you for doing this, I was fighting for my life watching the first semi, and call it quit.
*Edit - After going through them, I'm confident to say that we don't have the winner among any. overall mediocre but far better than last year edition. 25 songs were straight up no for me, 8 with room of improvement, and 3 songs for me were decent to actually going and listening to them in full.

5: Sopranique - Empire (Huge grower, still a bit unsure about the vocals but the music is awesome; 9/10)

wow... you know that there are good NFs that you don't know what to choose? so this is the same but because the NFs is so sad
the only ones that can bring some hope are Sarah, Eliana, Oxygyn, Nathan, Dominic, Denise, Karin and maybe Ryan.
The fourth semi-final was fairly weak with only Sirena and Karma saving it, although Banana and Topic were at least interesting. However, this just confirms for me that Malta has few options for qualifying this year. If they are to qualify though, they need to send Bewsa, Breaking Bad or Blood Stream. Possibly Ghost/Karma/Sirena but they'll all struggle more without juries.
Edit: This is slightly stronger than MESC 2023 I think but still overall more bad than good.
