It was definitely not a VIP sleeper cabin . I think the lady at the booking-desk already told you that . The guy at the train restaurant said twenty five for the beer and you understood thirty five . Actually German is Duc ( Deutsch - in only one word ) not Duc Duc ( double words ) . Germany ( Deutschland ) is Nuoc Duc ( Nuoc in this context means country , not water ) . The South Vietnamese call corn Bap and the North Vietnamese call it Ngo . The Vietnamese travellers are sometimes very noisy (especially when they get drunk) but always very warm and friendly . That could bother and disturb the foreigners who are not familiar to the local culture and habits. Hope you didn't have any issue with that . Keep well and welcome to Saigon .

the way Kurt captures, the culture so effortlessly is amazing to see! NATGEO; who?
Perhaps but Kurt is a little "too pressing" when interacting with the Vietnamese people and many of them appear wary of him.
Disagree, he has his talents, but is a big dick...not respectful of women or culture....frat boy approach....I suppose if you like that sort of thing...
He's joking about being a VIP and a hustler
