An alternative is a sun shower. We have one made by Stearns. It’s a simple, vinyl bag, black on one inside layer and clear on the other. We use it on our boat when the water is too cold to swim. They heat up in a few hours. If the sun isn’t shining, we warm water on our diesel stove. Sometimes, if the sun is really shining, the water gets too hot and a bit of cold must be added. They work great, are simple, and are inexpensive. Ours is a 5-gallon shower, though we find that two people can easily shower with only about three gallons total. They aren’t high-flow, but that isn’t really needed for a satisfying shower.
I have the joolca full system and I love it, no matter where I go campground ,lake etc. I have water to take a shower or wash the dishes, I carry 2-5pound propane bottles as you show their ,it’s also comes with a hose for cooking or hooking up to this unit. Bret is right and it’s an all in one system and it’s great even if you didn’t have propane During summer time. This can be used without propane because of the waters where you may be at will be warm. Do you find yourself using this system only when off grid camping, or you find it useful as well when camping at regular national park paid camp site? Thank you
Nothing like a hot shower after off-roading! I'm with you on this, Brad!
