  • We are still working on our Overland prelander build! Our Jeep Grand Wagoneer is getting long travel cantilever suspension. Overlanding is an extreme passion of ours, but we also love to go prerunning.
    In this video, we go through all of the steps we took to set up our 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer into the ultimate Jeep build. This Prelander will be great for Prerunning, Overlanding, and rock crawling. The rear long travel cantilever suspension is the topic of this video. We describe how we set up the custom Deaver suspension leaf springs, ADS racing shocks, and the custom cantilever suspension. These custom modifications will make this Jeep build incredible.

    Had to re-watch the beginning minute or so of the video to grasp the full idea of what cantilever suspension is and how it works. Paraphrasing the Dude, new shit has come to light!

      Haha thats great, it's kind of weird but works so well. I had no idea what it was when I got into offroading about 15 years ago, works so good! Thanks for watching.

      It's definitely not in some ways. But in other ways it is, the new motor and transmission is much more reliable and fuel efficient...🤷‍♂️

    Holy shit!! This is the first video I’ve EVER forwarded to my brother. He’s in the process of building out his ‘68 SS Camaro (for 1/4 mile, so way different☺️) and I knew he’d love seeing this. This is going to be amazing when you’re done. Enjoy!!

      Thanks Ray, we put a junk yard LS in it. It's a 2001 5.3L V8, seems to run very well. We touched on it in this video.

    Awesome build!!! What are you guys using for pivot points on the cantilever? Bushings or bearings or what?

    • @AdventureEndeavor
      @AdventureEndeavor  2 роки тому +2

      Thank you, the pivots are bushings and there are 2 per arm. Then the tierods are heims. Thanks for watching we appreciate it.

      @@AdventureEndeavor when we were out west this summer we went to Zion and Bryce so while we were in the area we went to his garage and meet him and his crew it was pretty cool. Really enjoying these build videos 👍

      Better is relative. They are built for completely different jobs. The Wagoneer would definitely get places faster than the Morvair but the Morvair would out crawl the Wagoneer. They are both great
