Regarding slums...what solution would u give? With 1.4billions where mere 2-3% pay taxes. Many slums eg dharavi, govt provided houses to them they instd stayed back after few days/month & gave house for rent & avoided payin electricity, water, taxes. Illegal immigrants issues, too many regional political parties, etc. Too many elections, freebies politics.What solution do u think Indian government should take to stop slums?!

Brother.. what you haven't realised is that.. we had to built bharat mandapam, yashobhumi and several other infrastructure which spiked the bugdet countries like Brazil and Germany had adequate infrastructure to host the same!
They too, had spent a lot when they built them.
Now these buildings will be used for several other programs, bringing in steady revenue.
I'd just like to comment on a couple of criticism that you mentioned. 1st is about the budget. A spokesperson of BJP said that not all of the 4100 cr was spent entirely on hosting the summit but most of it was also distributed among other infrastructural projects that were made ready for the summit and will be used later for other purposes as well. And secondly, in my personal opinion the Arunachal Pradesh matter wasn't something to be raised under our presidency as the focus was to build consensus and raising the issue would have made China to cause us trouble. Certainly the issue should be raised on other international forums. I agree with your other points and certainly there is always a scope of improvement in every aspect of life. Regardless, against all odds this was a successful event hosted under a strong leadership and all Indians should be proud of it.

We had to wear green clothes because it was part of the security protocols. We couldn't sanitize the old slums. Anyone could take anything from there, so we had to do this.

This is not a small slum, it is a slum area of Delhi, complete sanitation has not been possible till date, it will require at least more than 6 months. Even after that, there was always a security threat from inside. Use your mind first, just in case.

The green cloth which has been used is a security cover provided to VVIPs who visited India.
Any window from any space can be utilized by an enemy sniper and as protocol, it becomes important to sanitize (ensure that these are secured) these locations.
Unfortunately, this could not be done for each houses, hence the entire road where sanitization can not happen, a green cloth was placed as a security protocol.
