    Spinners over the yrs have never really been able to compete against hook bowlers but this guy is pretty accurate.

      The spin technique is never used by top rated world class players like Jason Belmonte or EJ Tackett or Kyle Troup or Chris Barnes or Walter Reigh Williams to name a few. Why is that?

    In the world bowling stage the only way spinner "helicopter" shots can compete with the best hook bowlers is if the lanes are absolutely horrendous. Slick on the outside, dry on the inside.

    He took the pattern out of play, she played the pattern wrong with the wrong ball. He also shot a No Tap 300. 😁

    A Bowler here from the USA, hook shots are just not for me, after hearing about the spinner/helicocter/UFO technique and learning more about it, I've been practicing it. According to my research, the spinner is supposed to be a type of technique that uses deflection as an advantage rather than a disadvantage (deflection due to the ball being either 11 or 12lb), the spinner technique is supposed to cause the pins to knock down each other like Dominos.
    Anyways, as for my skill with the spinner technique, there have been some days where I did very well, and there's also been some days where I did terrible

      Kind of my experience with it as well, however it might just be various psychological things for me. One thing that helped me was drilling the ball correctly, though. You need some reverse pitch in the fingers and the thumb at 00. If you use a ball drilled "normally" the release will feel wonky. Also a slightly looser thumb hole helps, too.

    Here's the funny thing, all spinners bowl basically straight and yet he picks up a spare ball to shoot the single pin, doesn't compute and totally unnecessary, just use one ball!

    • @B4S300
      @B4S300  Місяць тому +1

      Oh~ that's not a spare ball. It's also a reactive bowling ball, but hook less than red one.

    • @cruise2023
      @cruise2023 Місяць тому +1

      @@B4S300 Regardless he still uses it for shooting spares. Both balls are not designed to hook and are only 10lbs to boot. Admit ably it is a short pattern but the use of your hand release can make a high performing reactive ball go straight , even to shoot a ten pin.

      @@cruise2023 your naïve is laughable. The first ball layout is designed to hood right at the end so that it has more possibility to strike when it hit any point between pocket 1 and 3. On the other hand, the spare ball layout is designed no-hook so that it will completely follow the body direction.

    • @omegavladosovich6757
      @omegavladosovich6757 Місяць тому +1

      @@B4S300 it's a common misconception spinners only use plastic balls - they use balls with reactive coverstocks to grip onto the lane surface which helps when the ball hits the pocket. Either the ball is drilled neutral so it doesn't hook or a special variant that lacks the core (for example there is a Phaze II coreless version for spinners sold in Asia)
