I agree with padding/bulking out the grip. I find it gives easier/better overall needle control in addition to its benifit of being more comfortable/ less stressful on joints/muscles etc reducing hand fatigue and reducing/ prolonging the development of carpal tunnel and other hand based issues.

Thank you for this video. So informational and enjoyable to watch. My dream is to tattoo my own art onto myself one day. Not downplaying anything or saying this looks easy, but my hopes and confidence is definitely growing. Badass tattoo by the way like damn!

Beautiful piece! May I ask how Ben manages not to blowout tattoing with 3rl and 5mm stroke? For some people tattooing with higher strokes means lowering their voltages but somehow he uses high volts for such a thin needle and he even passess three times on some lines 🤯
You have to hang the needle so that it’s not hammering in. More experienced artists can discern the machine power vs needle stress for different types of skin
So did you used 6.3 volts ? How about the stroke ? Did you used the same setup for both lining and shading ? Greeting from Dominican Republic, just followed your channel 😊
I love the tattoo and the concept, but I’m curious as to why you decided not to put a little bit of depth in the beads as far as shading and the same with the filigree. I’m sure it has to do with readability and not wanting to over darken the frame. I feel like it really could’ve made that filigree come to life a little bit more like you did with the subtle shadows at the top. It just looks a little incomplete. Just curious but all at all an incredible job and super informative. Appreciate you taking the time to educate everyone and share the craft.
Thanks for watching Ben's tutorial and glad you have fouund it useful! We will be sharing more tutorials like this on our channel in the future so make sure to subscribe to not miss out on those 😍🙌🏼
Looks awesome, but those lines are not solid and not mantain a consistent width... Maybe just using 7 rl 0.25 or 0.30 lines, in that case you can get solid lines and really smooth shades using 3RL pendelum technic. But last word is how it heals. Such good work, thanks for the tutorial buddy
that's what you took to say the guy from a 2h video?😂 people this days man, watches a 2h "tutorial " to offended the artist and demand the channel owner to do it his way cause he knows best 😂😂😂
Who cares ! I came for the art not the pose or a thumbnail. I honestly wasn't even thinking about the thumbnail when I clicked on the video. Never crossed my mind so that being said it must be fine because I didn't give a sh!t lol 😆
Thanks for sharing tutorial video.. great job 👏

Amazing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is this all just triple black or are you diluting it for the lighter tones ? Looks amazing
Hey! Ben just used all trible black 😊
Seems like a fab guy
He is!
the fine line girl face on her arm is by heloisegeslain ^^ I recognise her art instantly
great contrast in the design
@@mr_sinister86 aged very well then ;)
@@mr_sinister86 let me guess, you got a spiderweb on your elbow with full blownout lines? Wonderful times.
What’s being used on the paper towel to wipe the skin?
So did you used 6.3 volts ? How about the stroke ? Did you used the same setup for both lining and shading ? Greeting from Dominican Republic, just followed your channel 😊
Thanks for the follow! Ben uses a 5mm stroke length, between 6.4 and 6.8 volts 😊
What cartridges you use here Aside from .25 3RL didnt get what needle size you change into
Top 👍
Thanks for watching!
with all respect your wiping the dermal incredibly hard . god bless that

0.25 cartridge (8s)?? Those lines seem very thick for that 🤔
But was it a bugpin or normal tight
@@willieeetmioutt716 10's are bugpins. 8's are smaller again
Illusionist power pack who sells those ?
at risk of coming off like an asshole would it be insane for me to ask for your stencil and reference so i can follow along on fake skin to practice
Technique is average
The line work looks fkd ... u still can’t beat a coil for outlines. Dry shaving often causes rashes
The angle your posing at isn’t flattering. Just keep ur thumbnails simple mate.
