@@chasehedges6775 I agree with you @chasehedges6775💯👍. I didn't enjoy Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and Dominon. Isabella Sermon has a Amazing, awesome acting career.
if they are happy where they are now, then none of them, Hollywood is a bitch and can twist a good person, and they are probably better where they are now, happy and doing what makes them feel fulfilled.
Mara Wilson was such an icon during her acting career. The fact that she's so well recognized even today is a testament to that. I'm glad she's found just as much success outside of Hollywood.
The seamless fusion of nostalgia and contemporary relevance in your ' video is profoundly moving, effectively conveying a powerful message of growth, resilience, and the timeless legacy of these iconic stars. *DO YOU AGREE WITH ME*
I know. But at the same time I was also gonna say that quiting acting career was also a missed opportunity since they could have been paid millions of dollars and be rich too. But I guess they do whatever they want I suppose
Mara Wilson penned a Cracked article on the reasons why child stars become messed up adults. At least her parents kept her grounded, ensuring that her success didn't go to her head.
Honorable Mentions: * Lori Beth Denberg - From playing sketch characters in Nickelodeon's All That to officiating weddings. * Margret Langrick - The fromer actress known for playing Sandy Wilcox is now the CEO of the publishing company Wonderwell. * Lisa Jakub - The former child star from Mrs. Doubtfire and Independence Day now works as a yoga teacher and writer. * Troy Slaten - Jerry Steiner from Parker Lewis Can't Lose would later be a candidate for Los Angeles Superior Court Judge. * Julia Winter - The actress who played Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory gives up acting to become a nurse.
Matilda is a great classic movie to watch imo about the girl herself who has genius level intelligence, and the ability to use telekinesis with her eyes. Just imagine if we could really do that, and the only other fictional character that I know Mara Wilson played is Lily in Thomas & The Magic Railroad, which that movie did not deserve a poor review by critics.👩🎀
_TATMR_ really screwed over the reputation of its franchise. Yes, Thomas became a household name, but for the wrong reasons, and the film fostered a misunderstanding of the series that has persisted since then, to the point where its nickname within the community is _"Thomas and the Tragic Failroad."_
@@Daniel_Huffman, honestly, my only major gripe with the movie is Thomas' lack of screentime. Other than that, it's a solid movie & a solid closing to the "All Ages" Era of Thomas (Seasons 1-5 of the the TV series & the 2000 Magic Railroad movie).
I didn't knew Stephanie and Matilda could ever get normal jobs, but now i know. So, thanks Ms Mojo and a happy wednesday to you as well, take care and i hope i see you soon for more, take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia.
I know almost everyone will associate Mara Wilson with Matilda or Mrs Doubtfire, but I actually associate her more as being the first voice heard for the Helluva Boss series after the pilot episode
Although living a happy life, I'd still love to see him in another movie.. the guy was incredibly talented at his craft and uniquely so. "I'd like to see how his craft has matured?". I can't help but enjoy a wonderful artist. 🎬🎥🎭🍿
At least other child stars like Miranda Cosgrove, Raven-Symone, Melissa Joan Hart, Michelle Trachtenberg, etc. are still remained active over the past years.
I was kind of hoping to see Tiffany Brisette on this list. I watched "Small Wonder" as a child mostly because I had a crush on her. She's a nurse now, I believe.
Between My Two Dads and Step by Step, Staci Keanan was on a short-lived series called Going Places (coincidentally, the latter two shows also featured Christopher Castile, who was a high school teacher the last time I checked).
Legit everyone did law, and then like two or three did some type of science and two other people did business and Marketing😆😆🥹 good for them… they also went to good school, esp to though those who went to Ivy League😆
It's interesting that none of the kids who stopped acting as teenagers didn't fall off the rails. Makes me think how they be treated when they stay acting.
I'd love to see Amazon create something special for everyone of these shining stars to act in... perhaps a mini series mystery? They're each far too good for Hollywood in my opinion. I am however happy they've all applied their majority of genius intelligence towards their successful futures of present day.... being they each so deserving. "Funny to have unexpectedly found this entertaining special due my lasting interest and often curiosities about a many of these people." I truly appreciated and enjoyed their talents then and will love to enjoy them again today. Thank you for sharing this special... your efforts proved incredible!❤️😉💯
I loved Mrs Doubtfire and Matilda. Mara’s acting were superb in both. Glad these child stars (big or small roles) became successful outside of acting unlike their counterparts child stars who continued acting but resorted to drugs and died prematurely.
Matilda was one of the kids in Mrs. Doubtfire. Like Timon & Pumbaa of Lion King she eventually got her own show. That's when you know a work is iconic, when the side characters get their own shows.
This is a good post because it shows positive outcomes of child actors with good endings. It is exploitation in the negative to show less than complementary and unfortunate outcomes.
I hope the child actress, Isabella Sermon, who played Maisie in Fallen Kingdom and Dominion is doing well. She was fabulous in those movies, even though they were terrible
Just goes to show fame and fortune are nice, but they’re not everything. But if acting is something you’re passionate about, I feel like those things are still secondary.
4:48 For the better he left, it shouldn't have continued without Charlie Sheen. Jon Cryer did win an Emmy for the newer season, but it was all downhill from there.
Lol I watch most of the films named in Kay Panabaker part and I always though the actress was Bridget Mendler (the one starring in Good luck Charlie) 😂 they are really look-alike, even after this vid
What is a not normal job? I think categorizing jobs into "normal" and "not normal" is not a good idea. What does that even mean? "Normal" is one of those adjectives that's really hard to define because everyone has a different definition of it.
