I won’t have a bad word said about the first version smart cars! It’s mainly down to user error because people don’t know how to drive them. I have a 450 and it’s done 170k and it’s fab! Sometimes the button on the side of the gear stick will fail because it’s rare. If you have any massive problems Smart Technic in Birmingham are brilliant. ❤

That sounds wrong. You can't just unload it to someone, even if private. Depending how far the buyer wants to go they could easily drag you through small claims and that £500 lemon will become a £3k bailiff attendance. It's folk who do this who give everyone in trade a rotten name.

I have had a crush fire with the same problem if you look under the bonnet where the circle is if you lift the plastic cover there is a hole that goes into the the circle way if you put your finger behind by taking the plastic off and just tapping it there is a hole that leads into the soap away and that gets blocked so you've got water continuously in that area so take the plastic off and just tap it with your finger and then that will go away as
I’d rather have salvage from copart and sell it as scrap for spares or repairs If your selling cat n cars at 50% less you just clean them and sell them as in ,you don’t even need customers to see them just pay and deliver nationwide 😂
I don’t get the no blower thing either!! All my friends do it and it drives me mad. I have climate control in my 2004 V70 and just leave it on. I keep telling them to keep using their aircon because the gas lubricates it all but it always falls on deaf ears all the time and then they moan like mad when the aircon fails and costs them a fortune! Arrrrggghh. And yes it’s always fuggy in their cars and always make a point of opening my window as a passenger. Great video

But he already lived with it 4/6 months cancelling another sale on it when camshaft posi sensor went on day of viewing deposit taken !!!

I see that trade plates can’t be used for social and domestic use, however I feel I need to drive each car for a couple of days to identify any potential faults so that I can rectify them before selling. It’s important to me that I build a good reputation. How do you test your cars to see if there any faults that you had not discovered when purchasing

We do our own warranty these days. We used to do 3rd party cover but 99 times out of 100, they wouldn’t cover it so I would have to anyway!

That’s no issue pal. If you get stopped just say you are performing a road test of the car. I’ve had no issues
