( All EMUs , MEMUs including bande bharat express are.self propelled -motor driven train . . Therr may be seperate locomotices to used for haulling the goods -trains . India should also move toards self prolelled train ..to attain more efficient transpot syatem .

WAP5 mera sabse pasandeeda locomotive hain. Sabse alag, sabse hatke. Kaash IR isko sahi se istemaal karti. WAP5 ka potential 225 km/h ka hain. Sabse chhota mainline engine hain par usmein badii taakat hain. Agar IR usey samay ke saath theek se upgrade karti (jaise IR ne WAP7 ko upgrade kiya) toh shaayad WAP7 banaane ki jaroorat bhi nahi padti.
WAP5 ka main issue hain uska kam weight. WAP5 sirf 78 tonnes ka hain aur 6,000 HP produce karta hain. Agar WAP5 ko uske actual puurvaj, Switzerland ke Re460, jaisa exactly banaate (90 to 95 tonnes with 8,600 HP), toh uska tractive effort WAP7 se bhi jyaada hota (aur top speed bhi 200 km/h kii hotii).
WAP5 ek race ka ghoda hain lekin humne usay gadhe ka kaam diya hain. Badaa bura lagta hain WAP5 ke liye.
Lekin WAP5 mere liye inspiration bhi hain. Voh chhota hain, duusron se ' weak ' hain parr phir bhi haar nahi maanta. Apni puuri taakat se dusron ko hairaan kar deta hain, hamesha. Bahut kucch seekhne ko milta hain dekh kar.

Exactly, WAP5 ka koi tod nahi hain. Vande Bharat ka top speed (180 km/h) bhi WAP5 se kam hain (225 km/h).

Bro ho sakta hai ki wap 5 high speed hai lekin uski pulling capacity dekho wo sirf 12-15 coaches ko hi 160 km/ h pe pull kar sakti hai par usse Jada coaches hone pe train ko140 km/h ke speed me vi thik se nhi khic pati or WAP 7 ko dekho jo 24-26 coaches ki train ko asani se 140 km/ h ke speed me pull kar sakti hai agar WAP 7 ki speed restriction ko release karke 12-14 coaches ki train usme atach kar diya jaye to 160 kya WAP 7 us train ko 160-170 km/h ki speed pe vi pull kar sakti hai WAP 7 is much better than WAP 5

WAP5 ke liye 15 coaches toh kuchh bhi nahi hain. Ek samay thha jab WAP5 20 coaches vaali Mumbai Rajdhani, August Kranti Rajdhani aur Trivandrum Rajdhani ko 130 km/h per kheenchta thha. In fact, kucch saalon ke liye toh Mumbai Rajdhani aur August Kranti Rajdhani ko WAP5 140 km/h per kheenchta thha, in Delhi - Mathura section.
