Thank you for your comments! This area is mountain area of Tokamachi, Niigata, Japan. Snow quality is high in moisture content and actually not like powder snow. It is watery and heavy snow. It is about 7 degrees below zero when it is most cold time. When it is cold, the snow at the bottom becomes as hard as ice. More than one meter of snow can fall in a single day. In 2-3 weeks snow reaches this amount on the roof.
