Lewis I started seeing your videos after knowing you in another community,
The first points are essentials.... not your keys not your cripto, and I still read and see people leaving their assets on staking plataforms /exchages / brokers and pseudo "Cripto banks" on a environment were don't exist regs... and even that history don't repeats itself but rimes.... I have a felling that alot of people with good bags become locked from their assets

@Lewis Jackson how much should we be holding I've got 1200. Is it pretty good is it dont quit your day job money or os it retirement money that's coming? Do you think itll be a straight to a stable price situation or a hold and carry on holding and watch it go up price. What worries me with lending against it is buying onto other assets with the money borrowed against it and then getting liquidated.
I bought my XRP from Etoro. I have a ledger to put it on. First you have to put it into a software wallet and then you can put it into a cold store wallet. My question is when I try to put it into the ledger it asks me for the destination Tag. I have asked what this is from Etoro but they don't seem to know what it is. Do you know what it is? I may put a little in as a test to see if it gets to my ledger. Please advise? Thanks, Awesome video.

Hi Lewis, really appreciate your insight and the work you put in regarding wealth management. I have 2 questions which I missed in your AMA. Firstly, what do you make of rumours of a black Swan dump in October pre November pump? Also, when you say stake through institutions, would that mean handing over assets from your wallet or would you imagine you would be able to stake but retain control on your own wallet? I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't trust banks with my assets lol
I believe it would work like staking now…you hold your crypto and lend it to institutions via a smart contract. You’ll never lose ownership of your crypto.

Hey Lewis great content, you remind me of myself coaching a very few friends and family that have put their trust in me to guide them with XRP. We discuss different scenarios to try and understand possible futures, I’m still interested in possible central bank buy back offers and proposals and am more reassured being a UK citizen rather than a US citizen with regards to friendlier legislation/regulation. Some have suggested not selling or staking until a cbdc can be offered in exchange for XRP since fiat currency’s are being devalued at the fastest rate in human history…..all by design in my opinion!

Can you share what you know about Ripple's "private" ledger... not to be confused with the "public" ledger we are all familiar with now? There are those that say the retail sector (you and I common folk) will not have access to the Private ledger, just the banks and large institutions. The Private ledger (needed for their customer's privacy) its said, is where the price will be high. The Public ledger for P2P money transfers will simply be priced as it is today, supply and demand.

It's like buying. From = you xrp account and To: it will pop up a new screen on your phone then tabs will appear up top (My accounts, my banks, cryptocurrencies...choose cyrpto network then choose xrp ledgder network) you'll need to enter your wallet info then. I would try taking out a little bit first to make sure it works.
I think he's a bit busy and you could find this info yourself. The only thing you need is the XRP address from your wallet and when you send it, use it. You may need the XRP Tag. Just enter the number 1

There must be some institutions willing to simplify loan models to the basics of just having enough value on the ledger as collateral for cash or a mortgage. I want to sell just to pay off debt, but part of me wants to just leverage more debt to pay off debt in the environment that would allow such opportunities.

Can you please explain how to transfer my XRP to a cold wallet? My research shows that cold wallets only act as an encrypted authentication tool which stores your mnemonic, not the actual coin.
So your transactions can only be made with a secure authentication.
I was under the impression that you could move your coin off the exchange to a cold wallet, just like cash in your wallet rather than digital dollars in a bank account.
Am I missing something?

Isn't giving your crypto to an institution for staking/lending, just as risky as leaving your crypto on an exchange? The institution could still go bust and it's no longer your keys your crypto, once it's in their hands?

About XUMM, I have it on my daily phone, but only use it as storage. I have transactions etc disabled, I need my very secure and long password for it. If someone steels or hack my phone, they can’t do anything with it. Cause my password is in cold storage somewhere else. You still think ledger is safer that way?
