Halloween kills did some things really wrong like wasting time with all the hospital scenes, under using Laurie Strode, and that weird and bad ending where Karen Strode is lures in by some illusion then killed. But god DAMN that new intro theme slapped hard and it had the most kills of any Halloween movie which were all beautifully brutal
There’s a song from Pet Sematary (1989 version) that plays at the end of the movie that I think could totally use a extended version. It’s where Rachel hugs Louis at the very end. There’s also another version of it in the movie and I think it’s called the “Moving Day Waltz”. It’s really good and I think it would be awesome extended, either of the versions.

Ever since watching the film, I have been wondering which soundtrack was better, the 2018 film or Kills? I love the soundtrack in this film, and this is an example. When I watched the film in theaters and 2:48 played, I felt nostalgia all around me. I also love how in this film during the flashbacks, they recreated two or three of the scores from the original 1978 film. But I think my favorite overall is the 2018 soundtrack mainly because of the amazing scores created in the 2018 film like “Michael Kills Again”, “The Shape Returns”, “The Shape Burns”, “The Shape Hunts Allyson”, and you can’t forget “Halloween Triumphant”.
The new intro in kills is on another level but 2018 gave us the remix of the classic and 2:48 which absolutely went hard. Also u said 2:48 gave u nostalgia? Was it ever played in another movie I missed out on ?

Halloween 3 had the computer graphic Jacko lantern opening tittle sequence and of course ended the traditional Halloween Jacko lantern opening title sequence in Halloween 5 the revenge of myers.Myers.. then not till 2018 is when we got a nice call back return of the classic original Halloween pumpkin main title credits opening again and now 2021s Halloween kills s continues the tradition pumpkin opening with a new twist to the pumpkin it's now a flaming on fire burning Jacko lantern for thie title opening credits.. and boy I sure hope they do this so called final third film in the David Gordon Green Halloween trilogy with Halloween ends coming this Oct 14th of 2022 and I sure hope they give us a real cool suitable memorable dope ass version of the main opening pumpkin credits for this last one with jamie lee curtis .to what I'd like to see as possible for this last 3rd movie maybe have a updated rehatched newer version of a almost like Halloween 2 1981 s pumpkin Jacko lantern where they have the evil dark skull face piercing thru a glow of light within the pumpkin being split into half unveiling the scary demonic skull face within the jackolantern but instead of the skull a real good one I think would be is as the pumpkin splits into half where the skull face was for Halloween 1981 intro instead of seeing a dark skull face glowing we now see Michael's face mask with piercing dark eye holes and the glow of the Jacko lantern reveals Michael's glowing creepy iconic mask glowing within the split in half pumpkin Jacko lantern showing Michael's mask staring at us as the opening credits go on to open the film.
