Bro , i am working in romania and this is my 3rd year in romania , but I am currently not working in IT field , { After Corona has to change the JOB } now working as a CNC Programmer but from a sri lankan IT company I have got good offer and if I complete 5 years in romania I will have PR and its path to get EU - UNION Passport. wich path is best for me. ?
At this point you can to consider the situation of the country as well, not the money. I can’t make decisions for you, you have to do it yourself. Don’t forget, you can always switch back to Software Engineering regardless of where you live.
i meant to ask that in these days sri lanka , Singapore , also paying very good salary. in other hand europe life is very hard but earning money not hard. so do you think having EU Passport is big thing rather gaining experience AS SSE or with a good position
In my personal experience, European life NOT hard, rather its much easier in many ways. Yes, it needs some time to get used to, but it’s good. Having an EU passport IS a big thing! I mean, it will give you a LOT of advantages including retirement, ability to work on any EU country, and many more. Yes, having experience is important, also where you live is as well. If you’re close to getting it, why not spend a few more years to get it and then move to another country 💁 But, it’s up to you to decide.
Ayya ucsc neda? Mama colombo physical doing CS as a subject and trying to get into the IT field. I have done 4 projects in full stack development side and I am seeking a chance to get an internship. But it is hard because I am not following a IT degree and it is a science degree which includes CS as an one subject. I want to know how about the validity of a science degree with cs subject in the SL IT field specially on full stack development. I am confident about the computer science concepts and theories and their practical implementations. Also gained more skills by doing some projects. How will be the future of the validity of my science degree? Will companies care more about the degree and not about projects I have done?
No matter how hard to we try to ignore, having a university degree is always beneficial. It adds a lot of value in finding a job, but more towards migrating to another country. Yes, you still should do projects, but I’d say also try to get a degree in that case. Because, at least for Germany, you can’t apply for work visa if your job is not related to your degree. 🥲
