Thank you for your reaction 😊. Please react to: Reason to Believe. They had many hits in the 70s, but Karen’s life was cut short: (1950-1983) She did not make it to her 33rd birthday 😢
Peyemi Reacts Okay so check this out, I have 6 words for you, " Bless the Beast and The Children " Check out that great song that showcases that beautiful Karen Carpenter voice. Trust and believe this song won't disappoint.
Karen was a tragic story. At first she was just the drummer, and she was happy with that, but when they heard her sing, they decided to put her more up front. But she wasn't comfortable with that. She thought she wasn't attractive enough. And because of that she was one of the first famous people to end up getting the eating disorder known as anorexia. Which is no matter how skinny she got she kept thinking she was fat. She ended up getting down to double digits in weight before they were able to get her to get help. She is finally able to start getting back to eating right again, but it damaged her heart too much, and it eventually gave out.
EVERY time I hear the Carpenters, I think of an angel singing! 😎💖
