The moral of the story is it’s easier to be honest & to give quietly just because it makes YOU feel good inside. No anxiety. Hi D, I hope things have quieted down & that the air quality is improving!
I used to work in a big box store like Walmart, and can say that we FREQUENTLY had people load up carts and then run out the door, right past security, and then return a few days later and try to return the stuff for cash. That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this.
Hello Dacob, I heard about David Lynch's passing and I know you were a big fan. I also saw you were impacted by fires from the beginning of your last live so I just wanted to send hugs to you at this time.
We’re surprised by this? Did we all forget when everyone on social media had the new $3,500 Apple vision pro goggles when they came out and about a month later it was on the news that everyone was returning their Apple visions? Social media is fairy tale land. Most of what you see is fake.
Tiktok banned in the US would make little difference to the rest of us. They only recommend videos from my own country and most of my views come from the UK as well... No idea why
The point of the ban isn't about how it effects the world at large, it's about how it impacts the UNITED STATES. We don't want to be spied on by the Chinese government. It's bad enough we get spied on by OUR OWN government! 😂
It doesn't make any sense, Why did he buy all that junk anyway only to return it. Did he film that buy only to make people think he was going to give it away? It takes all kinds to make the world go round.
With him making a video statements that he is returning the clothes to Walmart, he also is outing him self that he is not donating clothes to actually help people. He only wants the views, money and the love from his viewers for a cause he is not genuinely pouring his heart to - if he did genuinely care about “the community”, he would donate it to people in need regardless of the comments. It’s not like he is donating it directly to the viewers that publish the bad comments? I don’t use TikTok so I have no idea who this is, but I’m very sceptical to people and channels that post content about “helping people in need”. To me it looks like that they are using those people in need for their own good.. the worst is where they are filming people without their consent, or using their desperation to their own advantage for views, fame and money. I believe that truly good people don’t need to publish their good deeds in the internet for their own benefit 🥲
All you do is say, 'Haters gonna hate,' and you do your philanthropical good deed, right? If you truly want to help others, you don't listen to what others say!
I follow a very small amount of accounts and only trust a very few to give an honest opinion about certain things. Not many people have integrity when they start getting famous and making money.
What a totally bizarre story. BUT, I've thought for a long time that influencer hauls are mostly faked anyhow and most of the stuff ends up being returned. Doesn't matter if they are wanting to show off what they own or what they are giving away apparently!
7:25 he filmed a packing video how he is sending everything to people in need and then added a new story of returning. Just a new voice story above the old video. I’m guessing *allegedly😊
I would believe someone if they said they went through their closet and pulled out clothes that don't fit, they don't wear anymore and donated them. I would not believe someone who went shopping for new clothes to donate, and film themselves doing it. Unless they filmed a straight though, continued filming...the purchase, the bagging and straight to the donation box without ever turning the camera off. So, in this case, the fellow was going to donate all these new clothes he bought BUT he changed his mind because of naysayers on social media? How about this buddy, how about just donate? Leave the camera at home and just do a good thing. Then you won't get your feelings all hurt by posting it. You wanna be a hero? Go do good things without the need for media attention. Big baby. Maybe he should have bought himself boxes of tissue to wipe the tears from his eyes for his inability to deal with naysayers.
It's great to give to people less fortunate but if you're just doing it for influencer clout (to massage your own ego) then it's completely abhorrent. My partner had to tell off my BIL for videoing himself giving money to a beggar and posting it on social media. It's not about you. Do it quietly, give the person concerned their dignity and right to privacy.
What a mess. I do enjoy watching some of the Yotube videos when people do nice things for others. However the bible does say: Matthew 6:1-2 in the Bible is a verse about giving to the poor without boasting. It says, "So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. Do better people. Don't play games. Be kind and helpful to others. Be real and don't fake it and you will get further in life.

The nerve and entitlement! I could never bring myself to behave that way
Agree who cares what the bad comments say? If you care about the poor you donate the clothing
Yeah it was all fake BS, he gets his money back
Nahhh, he faked it. That is the lowest a person can go.

Thank you so much meowzerzzz 🥹🥰🙏💖
I just started on TT and am having fun on it: But I do NOT follow the 'influenzas'. I am so over 'massive haul' culture

Who has the time and energy to do this??? Geez 🤯

I love seeing your face and hearing what you have to share ❤❤
The guy looks like a crook.
This is nothing new in the world of "influencers" 😏 anything for views and likes, he's a liar
Love this ❤
🥹🙏♥️
David Lynch, would love to hear your feelings. It hit me much harder then i tought it would 😥
Very very sad time 😞

Dear Dacob, did you already try Dior Bois Talisman?
So disheartening, humans are not always so great 😢

This guy needs some mental health.
