I think these bags were 2020-2021 bags really! They can’t be the hottest bags of 2022. There are more new designs on their way from luxury houses.

Hi Steph. I think you’re spot-on! I love how you champion the Chanel Business Affinity - I have the medium and it is such a great bag and yet so many people on UA-cam don’t like it. I really have no idea why! I also have the Prada re-edition mini tote in quilted nylon which has the big strap and the detachable coin purse - it is so much more functional and useful than the smaller edition bag - it also has a top handle so I use it so much. And I am the biggest fan of the Saint Laurent small Loulou bag 🥰 x
LV has really stepped up their game over the past dew years. I’m loving all the bags that don’t scream LV all over it. Much better than the white/rainbow monogram days.

You are on point! Loving the mini loulou bag and have 2 so far and you are so right about the ysl sac de jour bag being so heavy and not practical for daily use. I might hold on to it for few more years because the resell value on this is terrible.
I have a chanel business affinity like yours but the bigger size. It's amazing! I haven't used mine yet though, I just keep it in my wardrobe and stare at it 🤣
Chloé is definitely making a comeback with the Woody bag, I just worry that is will be trendy and gone like so many other amazing Chloé bags 🤔
Currently obsessed with the Sac de Jour, Saint Laurent is such an amazing brand and hopefully they will keep it in the collection as classic bag. Just like fashion, some bags will come and go, but the classics are forever!
Same! Just bought the sac de jour because I prefer classics and they keep increasing the price. I don’t mind the openness of the nano and plan to keep it in my collection forever. The quality is stunning especially for the price point

I love the capucines. I thought I knew every Chanel bag until you showed the Business Affinity. I love the LOulou but I don't like the cloth ones.
Great video. I own the BV jodi bag in 3 different sizes. I am obsessed..i am not into logos and love quality so BV is perfect. Its a “if you know you know” type bag. I sold all my logo bags(lv,gucci etc…) but my BV and YSL. I am out of the trend game and these bags -You cant beat the quality for the price!!!❤️

Just gifted myself the Chloe Woody Leather Tote for Christmas! It's such a great work bag and fits all my needs even my small MacBook. I'm happy with the value for money on this bag! Next on my list is the medium YSL sunset bag.

I think the Business Affinity will be my first Chanel bag because of how highly you speak of it! It looks very practical (something I always look for) and I love it in the light gray color with the light gold hardware.

The Business Affinity is such a perfect bag! Top handle, back pocket, superb. And I really want a LouLou bag in Storm Grey with gold hardware size small

I wish I had seen this before I went to Paris! Would love to try to find Chanel Business Affinity. The classic flap was too expensive for me and just not my style. I'm a crossbody girl and love the look of the Affinity. Also great price point! I ended up getting a WOC which I can't wait to use. Your list was great! Where would the Pochette Metis fall?
I agree that the LV multi Pochette feels a little cheap but I love mine. So versatile in my opinion. I usually switch the strap to a monogram one and don’t use the coin purse. So it’s more dressy looking.
Same I absolutely love mine I got it on accident when I was buying another one and honestly it’s one of my favorite bags and the versatility of breaking it up into pieces is just great 👍

I’m planning on one more Chanel, I was thinking about the boy bag in red with gold hardware but I’m intrigued by the Chanel business affinity. I do have a boy bag in navy. I then want to get the YSL envelope bag in large bc I love how structured it is

Because UA-camrs talk about things that get them sponsorships. If you go against the grain you will end up with a unique style and a better value for money.

I’m not a fan of the LV Coussin but the colours are gorgeous and the leather does look amazing. I just don’t think it would be comfortable for me to carry. I’m a huge fan of LV and now am considering the denim Speedy 25 bandolier. I don’t have anything from YSL but do think they are beautiful bags and still “reasonable” for a full leather bag compared to some of the other brands. The Cappucines is beautiful but a little pricey for what I’m willing to pay.

I don't know much about bags specifically but I do know that many women spent money on bright red lipstick during the depression and war. I reckon, when times are hard (like they kind of are now with Covid doing the rounds), women like to prove that they're in control somehow and wearing an expensive, structured, 'means business' bag would be a wise way to go.
I want to like the Chloe woody bag, but blimey, it looks like a walking advertisement for Chloe. I don’t quite understand why they had to ‘smear’ Chloe all over the bag. It looks a bit tacky.

I am totally with you on Saint Laurent. Especially given the Chanel price increases, Saint Laurent has definitely gotten a lot more attention, me included. I recently bought a Toy LouLou and I love it. The Fendi First is so beautiful and the leather feels amazing but I’m not sure about the longevity of the design. Great video as always! xx

@@kckgirl182 I‘m really happy with my Toy LouLou. It does go crossbody (especially given that the strap is adjustable) but I‘m more of a shoulder-carry person. It fits a surprising about for how small it is but I wouldn’t go as far as calling it a perfect everyday bag. Sunnies, umbrella or a water bottle certainly don’t fit.
I love my small loulou and I think it will remain popular for awhile. The new LV Speedy 20 might be one of the most popular bags this year.

I completely agree with your thought on the Jodie, but only the mini size. I think the new Teen Jodie will be popular this year. This new size, the small and medium sizes are best for functionality The maxi, however, is just not appealing to me. Over time, I think the Jodie style will be seen as one of the highlights of Daniel Lee's brief tenure with BV.
I mostly agree on all your picks.About the good ones I disagree a little about the Fendy bag (not sure is gonna be that popular) and the Capucines also makes me doubt.It’s been a while this bag is being pushed as the LV BIrkin and despite it’s been a while I still don’t think people feels that way.Time will tell.I personally like it a lot.It’s so elegant….
About the worse ones I agree with you on all of them but still I see at least one year of success to the Jodie bag as the brand are making milions of different combinations so people can style it perfectly with certain specific looks.I won’t buy it for sure .As you said is completely useless,it’s only a cute expensive accessory.Great video👌👌👌
I think we are going to see a resurgence of the bowling bag style (speedy etc), denim will be back and baguettes will kill it this year due to SATC reboot.
Hi Steph, I love watching your videos! I would love to get your opinion on the I Louis Vuitton Lockme Chain bag. I am wondering if that is one you have looked at as a best/worst?
The Fendi First is a pretty design. However, I do not think this bag will wear well due to the closure being stiff and the “F” being covered in leather. Every time you open the bag you have to take care not to scratch. In general, I try to avoid bags that wrap their hardware in leather because it wears much quicker.

I love the coussin bag, but I am so sorry about the leather and how it will wear and tear. I’m crazy about scratches, so I am on the fence!

I think most Dior bags must be thought over, both the Bobby and the Caro designs will be phased out like the Diorama. Personally the phallic shape of the Bobby buckle just turned me off so much, and the logo paired with the round shape of the bag looks like a piglet nose 👀👀👀

Loved the video. You may or may not have heard of the “Telfar” tote but they are very popular because of their low price point/affordability. Also, they fetch more than double the original price on the resale market. I tried to get one and they were sold out while I was waiting in the check-out queue. They come in multiple colors and materials.

I was waiting for you to mention the Gucci Diana bag! What do you think of it? Gucci is adding more colors, and it seems like it would last the test of time. It’s more classic and not super trendy. It seems like you can wear it several ways, and if you want you can keep the colorful straps on it for a pop of color. I don’t see a lot of reviews on it. But, it’s really cute.

I received my Mini Jodie yesterday and it’s not making my heart sing. I don’t know what it is but I’m not happy with the bag, for the price I paid I want to love it, the crazy thing is, I was in love with it before I had it in my hands, it looks so good on other people but on me it’s blah! 😂 Sad to say I’m returning it.

I agree that the small lou lou is a better buy but the toy is more casual because of the leather strap. So it’s a good option for those who have a very casual wardrobe..it’s also more versatile for that reason as you can dress it up or dress it down :)

Since as far I know you don’t have the classic flap but you have the edgier more rock side of the brand with the boy and the 19.

Shea Whitney just recently reviewed the Coussin bag. Her main complaint is that the shorter chain gets caught on the bottom of the bag as well as tangled with the larger strap. Check out her video! ❤️
Yes I have seen the video it really did get tangled! The BB version the chain strap doesn’t look long enough to go under the bag so that should solve that problem for the smaller one
The sac de jour I think is already out of trend . But there r still few people still buying it. But as u said if u want it go for the Preloved market.

The Lou Lou bag is very popular amongst domestic helpers/ nannies here in Asia, it lacks the luxurious feeling, it is more an everyday bag. The Business Affinity bags have such a strong granny vibe.

I love the chloe tote it was my first purchase at chloe. But I was disappointed since the logo are peeling off after a month. I went and complain about it, just glad the manager let me return and gave a full refund. -_-

I can't seem to convince myself on liking even just a bit on any capuccines bag.
Don't shoot me but LV quality is terrible, every item I've ever purchased from them I've had problems with and had to take them back to the store for exchanges/repairs etc. Not worth the hype, same as Chanel's quality. Best quality brand for me from my experience is hands down Dior.
The hottest bags are from the early 2000s ~ totes and shoppers. Think YSL and Chanel ….

Chanel will never get a penny from me. They have nothing but contempt for their customers and their quality control is shite. I already have the bags I want from LV, and I don't like B,K or C. Therefore my eye travels elsewhere. Moynat and Delvaux are possibilities and I really like Serpenti. I'm also really wanting a Gucci bamboo. What I don't get is the puffy bag thing. I also don't get the multi pochette thing either. very impractical.
