  • Why is the virgin birth of Jesus important to the foundations of Christian faith? Pastor Joshua West shows the power of God at work in the birth of Christ, rooted in the prophecies of the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New Covenant. The question Jesus asked his disciples in Matthew 16:15, "Who do you say that I am?" remains critically relevant to everyone today. From his virgin birth and throughout the Gospels, Jesus draws a line in the sand and we must respond to him and only him for salvation.

" Jesus is THAT LINE in the sand".
    Ooooh, I love that,Pastor West.❤❤❤❤
I think that defines Jesus existence so very very wonderfully. " Take Him,or leave Him"...but His existence matters. Makes the difference to our lives and destiny-whichever choice we make.
HE IS THE BOSS...THE REAL BOSS.
    Hallelujah ❤

Oh Pastor West,I just started listening and right there where you said " the Holy Spirit had to come upon Mary so the child wont be born of the curse..."- what a thought! That is such a profound thought. My goodness- words fail me!

Matthew 1:18 does not have the language of Matthew 1:25; meaning it does not say Joseph knew her not before they came together.
Even when bringing up Luke 1:34-35, this is before the conception, and there is a reason Luke 2:23 is mentioned after the conception, birth, and circumcision. Isaiah 43:7-8, Isaiah 45:11
