thank u for this amazing explanation but i have a question why the peristaltic movements and segmenting movements dosent interfere with each other as the food that arrive to the small intestine simulate the peristalsis and the segmentation also and another question what are the muscles that stimulate the segmenting movement as there circular and longitudinal smooth muscle and iam sorry if my question is long and thank u again ❤

Is it starts from esophagus
Instead starts from stomach and till terminal ileum
