i just noticed smth if we mix the 2 meanings of "dokja" (only child and reader) it will become "The only reader" and kdj is the sole reader of three ways to survive in a ruined world
But, if we see at the meaning that his father gave him (Dokja=alone) wishing he can be strong even if alone and his mother gave him (Dokja=reader) to give meaning for his life. So.... I thought Kim Dokja also mean a lonely strong person who are also a sole reader of the story (that's makes all his friend & survivor alive). It really realized in ending & epilog.
Not just that, he wasn't a reader, it's his own imaginative suggestions that made this further progress. Quite fascinating one must say, I'm a late one as I haven't figured these were out in year before or so. For that, he even became his own fiction. He's the fiction, they call it "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" I call it "Fictional Compass"

I slightly like him cause of how he is and how he cares about his companions. not really the hero type for the rest of the population but that’s bonus points. Kinda related to him at some point. Especially the reading of that novel when he was young whenever he had the chance. The reason I think I like him is because he has a family, constantly fighting for him to live. Especially the things that happen at the end *beep spoiler so censorship*. They didn’t give up (kinda) Fighting for someone and that someone fighting back for you…is rare in this world. Now, through that video, kinda slightly jealousy of him. He has something that I never will have. He’s just a fictional character but still, the slight feeling is there.
