My mother is a hair stylist and mostly works with special needs children now after working with a little boy with autism over 20 years ago. Her experience with him sparked something in her that said “I can help these families” and now she has families traveling hours to come see her. Haircuts can be pretty emotional lol.

She is going to look amazing! Just a tip, next time when you want to do her nails try doing the nail wraps. They go on quick and no dry time. They are like a sticker for the nails.

Wow Abby was so enthralled with that stylist! Alot of the time she was just watching her lol. So sweet. Def go back to this woman she's great!... Also you guys need to get some nail polish drying drops or spray & do 1 nail at a time with it. It helps so much
I love that she was happy and using her tablet to talk about things to the hair stylist. Because talking with your hair stylist about things you like things they like is something we all do!

That brand of polish is the best for people who move a lot. I am not autistic and am a huge fan of it. It dries so much faster then others I have tried. And it isn’t too expensive either which is great. I’m sure it really helps Abbie to not have to hold still crazy long.
I just bought this coconut oil spray that makes nails dry SO MUCH faster. I found it at Sally’s, definitely worth a try if you haven’t found something like that yet ☺️

I LOVE my local great Clips. The woman is amazing with my special needs son. He is petrified of razors (bad experience with a barber) this angel uses only scissors on my boy and does such a great job. She's so wonderful my heart explodes every single time.

i dont know if it would cause sensory issues with Abby, but dipping freshly painted nails in a cool bowl of water cures them fast and cuts down the dry time drastically. might help keep them from getting smudged
Great Clips have cut my nephew's hair for years.. it always goes fine. Most hair stylist are very used to working with EC clients along with children. We've never had any issues with haircuts.

I don't know if you guys have seen it before but you can't get like an oil in a dropper bottle that dries nail varnish quickly! Don't know if that could help in the future!

Maybe gel nails would be easier then regular nail polish because soon as you put it in the UV light it dries like instantly.. I think it might really work better.. of course I don't know Abby like u 2 ... I just love watching how wonderful u guys are with her...
