TV will NEVER be like this again. Id give anything to go back...I cant help but think that our best years are far behind us and never coming back. RIP to all these guys.
I’m sitting here just reminecing. How Great time was then!! It’s so sad how it’s gone. Today is so far from those times.. It’s not fair at least we had a peice of it that comfortable, cool time!!❤
Johnny didn t nvent that. I think it went back to vaudeville where some friend would yell. How cold was it. And the crowd would laugh and it caught.on. I think henny and milton and rodney for sure used it
When we were 11 and 12 my brother and friends during the summer had on that shows we would put cars together course using glue best days of my life by the way I’m cleaning sober is always been 2:18
18:31 The original Hobbit, one voice to rule them all, -Orson Bean. "The Hobbit" (1977, animated, Rankin/Bass, Orson Bean voiced lead character Bilbo Baggins)
The best roger moore james bond. Christopher lee who was ian fleming s cousin and regular golf partner and herve villechaise. And marc lawrence who hunts llee in the opening sequence. Britt ekland and maud adams both swedish and still alive. Beautify the movie Also clifton james does his best to ruin the film as the annoying ignorant southern sheriff on vacation a return character from live and let die. Much better performance from jackie gleason in the smokey and the bandit franchise three years after golden gun
@@davidhallett8783 I agree about Clifton James. Apparently tho, they threw him into the mix so it didn't seem like a racist movie about black gangsters
When I was young, I'd seen Orson Bean guest on talk shows such as Johnny Carson and Merv Griffin. Boring, not funny, he was the worst. I don't understand how he kept getting booked on these shows. On the Merv Griffin show, there was a certain well-known deadpan comedian of the time, whose name I can't recall, doing a joke. Just as he got to the punch line, Orson spoke up and blurted it out killing the joke. The comedian stopped, looked at him and said, "Yeah." Orson sat there humiliated knowing what he'd done. In this video you can see how bad he is. Fortunately, one the best guests, Roddy Dangerfield, was also on this show and he killed.
Another lame Tonight Show guest was McLean Stevenson. Maybe he got booked because he married one of the show's staff members. Also, he and Carson may have had a project together. Not sure about that.
Wow I'm watching this Aug 2024 and this episode 50 years ago and its still great comedy as this was back then💕

RODNEY IS SOOOOOO DAMN GOOD !!

Broadcasting sounds the same. Carson was a genius!
When Johnny said she was so ugly, I was waiting for “how ugly was she”. I guess they hadn’t started that yet in 74.

@@davidhallett8783 It started in vaudeville.

I saw him a couple of times in his Christmas Carol program he would do at a Lutheran Church in Venice, CA. Such a sad way he went out.
@@maddymud what do you mean? how did he go out?
@@MidnightV6 - he was hit by not one but TWO cars when he was a pedestrian in his 90s.
James bond, the man with the golden gun, had just been released in the theaters
