Two people that aren't together, but you want them to get together. Have you seen The Walking Dead? Think of Daryl and Carol for example. Two characters who aren't together but fans root for them to start a romance. Shane and Ryland are obviously together already so it doesn't make much sense in the context of them. People sometimes misunderstand the slang.
Ever since they have moved over to Colorado, everything is even more wholesome, i love how happy they are, how loved they feel, it makes me cry happy tears.
