When Skeletor says look at my face child, he's just fucking with the Newbie (Andra) like a good villian would do, especially since he was currently Winning. If you haven't noticed, the dude has a flair for the dramatic.

I appreciate how you pointed out that the more toxic backlash to Revelations made you rethink even wanting to be a fan of MOTU. While I feel that the real fans who were critical of Revelations had more justified criticisms than the shills who used it for culture war clickbait, I also feel like letting toxicity into the fandom does chase off many potential fans and hurts the chances of seeing future projects in this franchise.
So fans who held onto their love of MOTU for decades with very little new content might end up seeing MOTU fall into total obscurity just by being tolerant of the toxic, the bigoted, the exclusionary, the terminally online that constantly seek to assert MOTU belongs to only them.
There's a saying, when you invite wolves to the table, you end up with nothing but wolves. That would be a real shame for MOTU, He Man and She Ra fans.

You talk about the fans who were critical of Revelation but not the ones who loved it, do we not count in your eyes? I not only loved the show but have all of the Figures from it having just gotten Keldor in yeaterday. That's IMO not being really fair and gives difference to the critics.

@@Fenris30 I'm glad to see someone who liked it! I wish I heard more from people who liked it. Its unfortunate that people tend to talk so much about what they hate and so little about what they love.
If its not clear, my comment was about how Revelations got a lot of backlash, which I'm sure you know about, and about how some of that was honest and sincere from some fans. So I'm not dunking on people that loved Revelations or people that didn't love it, either, as long as they didn't get toxic about it.
And some of that backlash was from people who don't care about MOTU, are not fans, are not interested in it, but used the opportunity to inject a lot of toxic discourse into the fanbase.
This is what's happening to a lot of fanbases. These grifters who have agendas of their own jump in whenever something new doesn't get a great reception and tell the fans that this new version they didn't like was ruined by things like having diverse characters, or having female characters with too much agency, etc, instead of whatever the fans really didn't like about it.
This is to channel the fan's disappointment and incite anger against the demographics they like to target, and get people behind their toxic ideology, in a sneaky way.
People like this are like wolves. They try to use fandom to recruit others to their ideology. They dont care about the properties they mouth off about, for the most part. They bring out the worst in the fanbase, inciting fans to get and stay angry, and to reject giving anything else new in it a chance.
Eventually, they chase whole segments of fans away, because their ideology is very exclusionary. Basically, you have to be a "dude bro" guy of a certain pale color and political leaning, or a "pick me" gal who has zero self esteem to really be in their club. And everybody that's not one of them is someone to insult, target, hate and harass.
That's what my comment was about. A whole lot of content creators made hate content and raged out about Revelations, tons performative outrage. And about 98% of them seem to have forgotten MOTU exists, with a few really stubborn ones who have tried to bad mouth Revolutions, saying the same garbage about it, even though none of the things these people say they were mad at are even in this show.
Because they never cared what was in the show. The "clowns" and similar channels never cared what was in these shows. They only cared about recruiting new people out of the fanbase to get hooked on their toxic content and ugly quasi political, social ideology.
And I really hope that the rest of the MOTU fanbase is smarter, now, and doesn't fall for that toxic, hateful garbage again.
I don't think any new content in MOTU, or any other creative property is going to make every single fan 100% happy. But I do know that fair minded criticism doesn't destroy a fandom. Whereas toxic discourse that encourages people to give in to their worst natures will. So I really, really hope more MOTU fans can now understand the difference between genuine criticism and hate speech, even when the hate speech is cleverly disguised.

They look really creative and fun. I just don't have the money or space to be collecting them right now.
