Fun video I've found myself looking forward to Mondays and Thursdays now.❤ Modelones is the first brand I used and they're not bad. I've found smaller businesses that I like better but modelones is pretty solid and super affordable

I just bought a models one cream palette. I’m waiting to have time to soak off the 50 shades dip you showcased in a past video. I love colors like that. I can’t wait to try the creams. If they work out for me I might stick with something like that. Just for the reason of downsizing the things I love. There’s limited space in my home but I like to experiment and play with stuff.

I’d love to see another cream pudding polish video with these new colors. I haven’t gotten the hang of them yet. My first experience I had chipping and that never happens to me. I want to like them, but I don’t know. I’m used to products that have some self-leveling. Thanks Marla!!!

@@MarlaKris not really. I live near Cleveland in Ohio. I used to go to the big parade every year, and go out after. My dad is in the hospital right now. So I spend every day there til he can come back home. All I want is for him to be back home and well for my birthday.
Soooo pretty.! I just ordered the same gel polish collection and it is def spring. I LOVE IT.! I also ordered their transparent jelly polishes and was very disappointed they don't look transparent to me at all. But even at that I love their company.!

Newbie question. Why use gel top coat and not the dip powder top coat? Are they the same in a way?
I always clear cap since watching your videos and for the reasons you just said. Since I'm still fairly new at this, my powder gets a bit lumpy sometimes. AND, if I get too aggressive with the filing, I can always recoat with the clear and it's all good!. Clear capping has helped me stop a split I developed as the mutilation of my nail plate by a salon months ago continues to grow out. I can grow it out nicely now.
I agree that pigmented powders have a tendency to crack or lift a bit more, but hadn't stopped to wonder why. You answered that!!!! Duh🤪

The color was #450. I don’t think they sell singles in the dips but they do in acrylics! And you can use the acrylics the same way you use dips!

Lovely Video! Loving that green color, I have only used one of Modelones products but I have always wanted to buy more ( I'm a beginner DIY nail girl). BTW, do you have a video on removing gel polish or dip powder without removing the builder gel or any other base you may have on?

This is the first brand I used. Love the colors in the kit I got. Loved the goodies and the inexpensive efile I got as well. However, and I may have had an older version, I didn't care for the base. For me, it was pretty thick.
Or maybe since it was my first time I did something wrong. Nope, still thick, so I've switched to Revel, which I like the consistency of much better.
Revel is great! As long as you find something you love, I support whatever you’re using! 💞

I have the same kit. I am new to dipping. Sometimes I have seen that you are supposed to dip at a 45 angle but I see that you push your nail against the powder. What is the "right" way?
The “right” way is whatever way works for you! I found the 45° angle can create a ledge at the front of the nail so I stay away from that one 💞

I used the dip liquids that came in the kit ❤️
What’s the difference between acrylic and dip powder?
Nothing, the process of applying it is just different.
Tbh.. not much. Some are milled differently and dip is allegedly “stronger” but I’ve used both interchangeably with no real difference!
I love it, but being on disability and very limited income, it's way too expensive for me ☹️
