what funny about Fairy Tail is that when you seen all the seasons it makes want to go back to catch the things you did not understand at the time, then you truely see the whole of the story
If we talk about battle intelligence everyone have their moment , but if we talk about intelligence alone i think Gray , Mystogan , Gildarts , Laxus idk 😅 , and if we talk other character for me Jellal is definitely a prodigy , that man learn the destructive magic circle after watch ONE TIME (and even Cobra who works with Brain isn't able to destroy) and he is intelligent for manipulated everyone for 7-8 years (yeah Ultear manipulated him , but all the manipulated stuff came from his mind)
Fun fact , in the manga , after the tower of the heaven arc , when Ultear talk about Jellal (maybe in Laxus arc idk) she said "You can't resurrect someone who ISN'T DEAD" . I think this was cut it down in the anime because at the time they don't think that Fairy Tail could became so much famous in fact i think that the Tower of Heaven should be the final arc .
But then there'd still be questions unanswered. Where is Igneel? Why did two dragons disappear on 7/7/777 We wouldn't get Wendy Gajeel and Juvia wouldn't have officially joined the guild So much would have been gone, so I don't think that Fairy tail could have ended there.
