I am from mysuru. Aged 74. Started running since my 65 th year. Keeping fit no medical issues. Average 60 kg wt. Average monthly 450 km. Annually 5500 km for the last five years. Enjoy running. Hi Milind, Please advise, can we run on cement tiles track. Some people told me that you should run on grass or soil track otherwise you would have pain in your knees.
I love running. Unfortunately I can’t run because it’s very cold here.. i cannot run other than parks because in Germany people why I don’t know they see suspiciously if we(Indian) run on the road and sometimes they change there path suddenly by seeing me. I am still finding answer.
I run in bandra at the reclamation promenade thrice weekly..not much arround 13-15 kms with a b8 kg back pack. I do it for passion...anyone who runs and whom is into long distance as well here let me know...I'm looking to bettering myself and learn... didn't find tips here though.good to see lot of people are taking to running... seriously it's a mind game.
I tried to run and started having knee pain. I got to understand about barefoot running but not able to do long distances barefeet. Please give guidance about how to start barefeet running.

I ran 3 hours everyday and I am not sure how much of kilometres it is!.
Even at 10 min/ mile pace you would cover 18 miles(29 kms appox) which is crazy. Keep it up 💪
