I lost my only son on Dec. 1, 2012. He battled sickle cell disease for all of his 28 years, but he never allowed his disease to stop him from being a wonderful young man who dreamed of becoming a teacher. He was in his last year of college when God needed him on High. For those who battle lifelong diseases/cancer/disabilities, God is still working in you and for you. Be Blessed.
This song sung by Bishop Winans, has helped me Beat Breast Cancer for two years now. I am done with Chemo and Radiation. Only one Surgery left, Lord Willing. Every Day that I wake up I say Thank You Lord.. I do "Feel Like Going On".....
My doctor said in 2011 that my life expectancy wasn't very long...with an aggressive Stage 4 cancer...but it is 2013..I'm still here...and I feel like going on....

I Love this song!! I to am a cancer survivor since 1989. This past June 2012, I was told I have it again & that I have had it for a while. I started treaments the next day. I've been having treatments for 6 monts & I was told 2 Fridays ago, that I have to continue treatments for another 6 monts!! Still waiting on more lab results to come in. I believe GOD, that Im already Healed. In Jesus' Name!! Everytime I listen to Pastor Marvin Winans sing this song, it gives me more strength to go on more

I what you are feeling. My Mom died from Kidney Cancer back in April of 2003. You are gonna be good. I am standing with you in faith. Mt testimony is that while I so miss my mother...God and His amazing grace and comfort have never left me. Cry and weep now, but with each passing day it gets better. She will never leave your spirit. One day you will remember something funny or important she said or did and it will make you laugh or feel covered. Embrace those moments...this is strength!

Pastor Winans this is a wonderful song." I Feel Like Going On", was the subject at church today(8-1-2010), & it was good. I could hear this song in my mind. I love it. I feel like going on. It puts a spark in my soul & I have to cry sometimes. Oh Lord, it gets dark sometimes but, God is oh so real & good to me. He has given me so much & His giving never stops. I thank God for all my blessings. I have no complaints, just desires & personal wants. God is real & I'm humble to my God. AMEN.

Feeling like I'm part of a greater family. I'm just trying to get through each day with God...

Knowing that God is standing by at all times makes living in this life and time a blessing, so much and many of the loves of our lives have left us and yet we resolve to press onward and upwards is a testimony to our spirits' understanding of life, death, the grave, grace and even the heavens! I appreciate knowing! That God is not Dead and that HE lives!

God allowed me to come back to this posting for some reason today. I saw the comment below by gazaking777. My question to this individual is, "Have you been through the fire?" Come on Hebrew Boys! I got sued by an evangelist over a lie. I just got out of the hospital on Sept. 14, 2010. I come home to find out all of my money is under garnishment. My lights are to be disconnected today (9-17-2010). I don't only feel like, I WILL GO ON. I speak victory in the NAME OF JESUS! AMEN!

First of all, I did NOT know Bishop Darryl Hines cld sing like that. That was a revelation. Secondly, my heart was overwhelmed when I saw the late Timothy Wright and Walter Hawkins. Gone but never will be forgotten.

Each day is new, different and a gift from God. I will see my son again and knowing that he in no longer in pain or battling an infection is a blessing. Good memories of him slowly replace the pain of grief. God is helping me to 'feel like going on". God Bless you and I thank you.
