Great Guide Dude! Helped me complete both the Xbox One and Series X versions! For anyone having trouble with stealing from Gladys' safe, temporarily respec your skill points and put everything into lockpick. It should shorten your window from 3s to 1s and give you plenty of time to steal everything. Then you can just respec again and set your stats to what they need to be. Should only cost 1500 bits which is far cheaper than the 8000 it'd take otherwise and you should have plenty of bits to spare.

I was looking at your video to see if it contained the same choices that I'd have to take to get those but couldn't for the life of me find them.. I know you said its best to do everything else first before this run, but I'll just ask, can I still get those two trophies on this playthrough so that way I can kill 3 birds with one stone?
@@TheBrandenRoush Both of those require you to do stuff on other quests. Mightier than the sword is saving Edgewater and Peace in our Lifetime is uniting the factions on Monarch iirc. So you will need to look up guides for both of those to do them. There's no reason you can't do them on your Supernova playthrough but it will make things a bit more difficult as you'll need to do a fair bit of running around.

I went ahead and knocked out the supernova run last night and quickly saw I wasn't able to because of having to route power to the botanical garden. but fortunately i did have a save from my first playthrough where i had a headstart.. ive played enough today and im on the mission to get the peace in our time trophy.. just a grind. i do thank u though because even though i couldnt do this on supernova, i did use gladys safe trick and that saved me time..
I just did this, following this 10/10 guide, on PS5 playing the Spacers Choice Edition. As of May 22 2024 this works, and works on the Spacers Choice Edition. Thank you so much!
Just followed this guide on PS5 at 60fps and still works like charm. The only problem I faced that I got fatigued and couldn't activate the last dialogue option for Sophia. So my advice to all is to sleep, eat and drink before Tartarus. Excellent guide BTW.
At the Sophia confrontarion, the [Temperament] option was grayed out. I picked the option right under it, and afterwards you get a perception option, pick that. Then pick any skill option that come up
@@aspeckofstardust I was able to do all the same stuff, there's definitely a sweet spot on the safe where nobody will see you if you pick it just right. And the TTD comes in really handy there. I didn't have trouble with the secretary either, but he is really quick!
**Safe Hack FEB 2022** Seen a couple of people mention about not being able to Hack Gladys safe, claiming the stats or game has been patched/changed. It is definitely still doable following this guide exactly (Feb 2022) I think the issue some people may of been having is that they are not drinking anything to restore your thirst. While suffering the effects of thirst your stealth skill are all reduced making the hack near impossible. Check your active conditions, have a drink and try again. That's the issue I was having for a frustrating 10 minutes till I noticed the red stats. Figured Id post it here incase like me anyone else runs into this.

Great guide! Had this game for a while on PS4 but never beat it, started over again when the Spacer's Choice Edition came out on PS+ and have been binging this pretty much non-stop. The platinum is at 0.2% rarity right now, so I'm pretty glad to have it!
November 2023 - As others have said, I too don't post often on UA-cam but after using this guide to unlock the Super Nova trophy and get the 100% completion, I could not switch the game off without coming to thank Doobie Streams for making such a fool proof guide for this mode. YOOO Tq so much. I strayed abit by accident and found some tips, accepting quests can give you massive XP so at byzantium I accepted the lady's offer to betray phineas and when to the journalist room and read her emails. It was enough to push me to 8 before I even entered ministry. I finished game at level 11 or 10 I think.
A very good guide. No excessive, filler commentary & no skipping over steps like I see in a lot of guides. I was actually level 17 and getting tired of the grind when I found this guide but was still able to use it to skip a whole lot. The only snag came about at the end with Sophia because my "Charm" attribute was too low to follow your conversation instructions & you can't respec attributes. Luckily though I was able to go back to the ship and respec all my skill points into Lie, Persuade & Intimidate. I also wore gear with dialogue bonuses and brought Parvati & Ellie which luckily was just enough to boost each dialogue skill over 100. This guide saved me a lot of hours of grinding and excessive load times. Thanks.

Amazing!! Thankyou so much. No way I could’ve got this without your video. I had an issue with Sophia at the end where the temperament option was locked.. I reloaded before entering the pit and it worked on the second try for some reason! I’m glad I didn’t have to replay from the beginning 😂
@@GreedoTheDog ah; wonder if sleep deprived is what's doing me in on this try edit: reloaded; slept ate, drank only moodlet up is a health regen and it's still locked out. edit edit: Looks lioke maybe I goofed up allocating points at the beginning as only two of my four impoirtant stats are at two green triangles... the others are only at one. :x final edit: They should ve at three not two; I REALLY messed up :D
If anyone reading this has doubts, dont stress. It's actually really easy! It may take you 2 hours buf just have the guide going alongside your attempt. Also you can do the quest for Ellie on the Groundbreaker for some extra easy XPand Bits. All you gotta do is talk to Udom and get the girl in fhe hospital to work her debt and then remember to speak to Ellie afterwards.
@coltonschmidt6173 Make sure you're really nestled into the corner, time to lockpick and then within the same second, start TTD that way you get a headstart and the lockpicking during ttd doesn't take forever. Make sure your sneak is at 50 too it really helps. It's honestly just a bit RNG. Sometimes I wasn't noticed at all and other times I was stopped immediatel. Bit annoying lol
2021 update If you are at Gladys's safe you will have to use TTD while lockpicking and it should work ! What a great walk-through guide, i will be recommending this video to others 👌

Great walkthrough, kept my interest at every step of the way. I got super lucky to get this unlocked however. I followed your guide to a T, but when I got to the conversation with Sophie at the end, my Temperament was locked. I chose the 2nd option, and just winged the rest of the conversation and I was able to pacify her, thank god. Keep up the good work!

This worked for me, in a little over two hours, with loading, following along with the video, and I took the time to make a detour and get the Sun achievement as well. Thank you.
To avoid the Ministry, you can speak to Sophie in her office after watching the video message and pick "we need to talk about the lifetime employee programme" and she'll give you a key to the Hope. Although I'd dealt with the cartographer on my playthrough so don't know if it's an option without, but this and planting the tracker on Welles' terminal gave 5 minutes of extra gameplay but more XP. Siding with the Board swapped the enemies, but everything else remained the same.
You. Are. The best. The others I saw had zero explanation, but you took the time to explain everything you did, the how and the why. You are freakin' great, a national treasure!
Great guide and thanks for taking it slow. Just popped the platinum and messaged a guy on my friends list with your video link. Spent so much time reading documents, conversations and playing the game/both DLCs on my 1st run that’s it’s nice to streamline a Supernova play-through.
This walkthrough is very helpful, it works with the next gen version, with the difference of when you pickpocket the guard at the ministry building, there is another plant on the right corner, making it hard to pickpocket safely, at least for me, just go upstairs and then jump behind the guard, you can exit by jumping like crazy, it works for me. (Sorry for my English) 10 out 10.
I did this parallel to your video and it took me about 1:45h real time (incl distractions). You also explain all your steps which makes it way easier than to scan and puzzle through an actual speedrun. Thank you for saving me 20+h and now I can just get the rest of the achievements on Story difficulty :)

Can’t believe you only have 20 subs, this was the best walkthrough. Completed Supernova in about 2 hours or so.. I wanted to skip the Hope into the Sun, and also had to go back and do some side missions to get my lie up to 100 AND I wore the moon man hat because at Lie being 80, it didn’t work with Sofia. Thank again! Explain so well!

The lie stat is actually for the guy on the comm when you first get to Tartarus, you need 80 to get the ID card from him so you can stealth through and not fight anyone. For Sofia you just use Charm, Temperament, and Perception. Lying to her is tough. Either way as long as you got through it that's all that matters lol. Great guide, couldn't ever see the dialogue options on other speed runs, but this one was really simple and easy to follow. Still works in May 2024. Only thing that was different was there was no [Temperament] "youre getting flusted..." option at the end. I picked no.2 "I destroyed your experiements..." and thankfully it still got to the point she surrended peacefully. I followed the exact same choices and pattern as you and for some reason it just didn't show up... maybe being the spacers choice edition? I dunno. But thanks none the less 👍🏼
This is good to know. I bought this game for Christmas and played through legit. I absolutely love it. Supernova playthrough is all I need to Platinum. Wish me luck!

Much appreciated for the very concise and helpful guide, got the final achievement unlocks in just about an hour or so once I started following the video. Emerald Vale nearly broke me, it's not that Supernova is hard it's just tedious with the restricted travel and saves, the survival mechanics just felt like busy work and not fun at all. It's strange since New Vegas, which they made, had a much better survival mode in Hardcore. So thank you for helping speed up the process of getting the achievement for me, now I can go back to having fun on Normal.
Still works on series x as of today July 2nd 2022. Thank you for this guide! FYI if anyone runs into the issue where your temperament is debuffed to high and u can't select the temperament option on sofia at the end there is a perception option if you choose the second option I believe u can still pass to keep it all pacifist. The issue is the temperament option will be selectable but hitting A on it does nothing.
I followed this at the start but ended up playing the entire game with all the quests on Supernova, much more fun! It is so much better experience albeit a long time to finish the whole thing. Weapon upgrade and mod is crucial on this difficulty, I never even tinker with my weapon on normal difficulty but here it is a must.
Great guide! Was not looking forward to having perma death on my companions and trekking all over Halycon for this achievement (as much as I love the game) so this was a life saver. Very well done guide.
What a great guide. Took me 30min, fully pacifist, got the trophy for it and subsenquently the plat. I'll attempt this strat in easy to see how much time I can shave off.
Thanks for the guide. I used it for Sunburn achievement as well, seeing as you can save on ship and use autosaves to recover from driving into the sun as a dum dum.
Also another way I got money through your speed run, was grabbing Phineas weapons and selling them to the vendors. You get 1000 bits for the shrink ray and it is right on the table by Phineas.
Great Guide, thanks for the help!! Just in case no one has mentioned it, if you haven't gotten The Cartographer achievement, it's very easy to get when you reach Byzantium. It's also an easy way to get some more levels and get to 100 in Lie for the last speech check with Sophia :)

Although I'd dealt with the cartographer on my playthrough so don't know if it's an option without, but this and planting the tracker on Welles' terminal gave 5 minutes of extra gameplay but more XP.
Siding with the Board swapped the enemies, but everything else remained the same.

Great guide and thanks for taking it slow. Just popped the platinum and messaged a guy on my friends list with your video link. Spent so much time reading documents, conversations and playing the game/both DLCs on my 1st run that’s it’s nice to streamline a Supernova play-through.

This walkthrough is very helpful, it works with the next gen version, with the difference of when you pickpocket the guard at the ministry building, there is another plant on the right corner, making it hard to pickpocket safely, at least for me, just go upstairs and then jump behind the guard, you can exit by jumping like crazy, it works for me. (Sorry for my English) 10 out 10.
I did this parallel to your video and it took me about 1:45h real time (incl distractions). You also explain all your steps which makes it way easier than to scan and puzzle through an actual speedrun. Thank you for saving me 20+h and now I can just get the rest of the achievements on Story difficulty :)

Can’t believe you only have 20 subs, this was the best walkthrough. Completed Supernova in about 2 hours or so.. I wanted to skip the Hope into the Sun, and also had to go back and do some side missions to get my lie up to 100 AND I wore the moon man hat because at Lie being 80, it didn’t work with Sofia. Thank again! Explain so well!
Thanks so much, I'm glad it helped! The lie stat is actually for the guy on the comm when you first get to Tartarus, you need 80 to get the ID card from him so you can stealth through and not fight anyone. For Sofia you just use Charm, Temperament, and Perception. Lying to her is tough. Either way as long as you got through it that's all that matters lol. Great guide, couldn't ever see the dialogue options on other speed runs, but this one was really simple and easy to follow. Still works in May 2024. Only thing that was different was there was no [Temperament] "youre getting flusted..." option at the end. I picked no.2 "I destroyed your experiements..." and thankfully it still got to the point she surrended peacefully.
I followed the exact same choices and pattern as you and for some reason it just didn't show up... maybe being the spacers choice edition? I dunno. But thanks none the less 👍🏼

Much appreciated for the very concise and helpful guide, got the final achievement unlocks in just about an hour or so once I started following the video. Emerald Vale nearly broke me, it's not that Supernova is hard it's just tedious with the restricted travel and saves, the survival mechanics just felt like busy work and not fun at all. It's strange since New Vegas, which they made, had a much better survival mode in Hardcore. So thank you for helping speed up the process of getting the achievement for me, now I can go back to having fun on Normal.

FYI if anyone runs into the issue where your temperament is debuffed to high and u can't select the temperament option on sofia at the end there is a perception option if you choose the second option I believe u can still pass to keep it all pacifist. The issue is the temperament option will be selectable but hitting A on it does nothing.
I followed this at the start but ended up playing the entire game with all the quests on Supernova, much more fun! It is so much better experience albeit a long time to finish the whole thing. Weapon upgrade and mod is crucial on this difficulty, I never even tinker with my weapon on normal difficulty but here it is a must.

Also another way I got money through your speed run, was grabbing Phineas weapons and selling them to the vendors. You get 1000 bits for the shrink ray and it is right on the table by Phineas.

Great Guide, thanks for the help!! Just in case no one has mentioned it, if you haven't gotten The Cartographer achievement, it's very easy to get when you reach Byzantium. It's also an easy way to get some more levels and get to 100 in Lie for the last speech check with Sophia :)
