Nike drivers from this time period were inferior to the other brands. They definately had a wider dispensersion and spun the ball so much drives didn't have much runout.
I was an assistant pro at the time so we could take out the demos and none would take the nike.

Yep, I was working for Nevada Bobs golf store here in Dublin around the time. They were dreadful.
Harrington didn't have his A game, only the first holes. Furyk did the brave soldier to help Tiger get back into the game, always playing first to secure positioning. Not a very good match, Europe gave it away easyly.

There are 3 airports close by. Dublin Airport, Weston Airport (semi-private, which the players and celebs would fly into) and the Casement Aerodrome (private). Weston is roughly lining up with the K Club closeby. Also, the K Club has a few of their own helipads, and that was roughly quadrupled for the Ryder Cup.
Early comment. Don't know the result, however, I'm an American, should be rooting for the home soil team. I like Tiger, and Furik especially. However, Paddy is one of my favs, cuz I'm of Irish descent. Montgomery...ahhh . Reminds of an aging McElroy. Not a fan.

Yeah, that's a mistake. However, he did beat Tiger and Davis Love III in foursomes with Paul McGinley on Saturday at Oakland Hills.
