You have no clue how many chameleons you have actually rescued without even seeing them with your eyes. I'm pretty sure you have saved or made thousands and thousands of chameleons lives better.
Definitely true for my little girl. I was given a female veiled chameleon about a month ago. I had zero experience, had no clue about anything chameleon related. I’ve only ever kept turtles and aquatic animals so this was definitely new for me. I, without a doubt, am beyond lucky to have found her channel. I took a whole a day to run through as many of her videos as possible while taking notes.
Now I feel confident in keeping my little girl happy and healthy for the next 6-8 years! THANK YOU 🤍

Aww thank you so much for saying that 💚
@@NeptunetheChameleon it's very true. U helped me so so much
Awesome. Have 3 veiled Chameleons. Daisy, Lola and Milo. They are friendly and very fun to watch
Aww love their names!
@@NeptunetheChameleon Milo was a rescue from a Petsmart. He had a treatable molecular bone disorder. With proper diet and some TLC he came through like a champ. I have a wonderful patio for them to roam and get lots of sun. Each has their own Ficus tree. Both inside and out, plus many other plants to crawl through. I keep them all separated with dividers.
Yes! Come to the veiled side! Mwah ha ha! 😈 😂 Seriously though, he is a little beauty and with your promotion, should have no problem finding a great forever home. ❤
It’s been such a joy taking care of him! Crazy to think he’s my first veiled.
I absolutelly love what you do for the chameleon community. Love your videos, can't wait for the updates!
Thank you so much!
He's so cute!
Absolutely adorable!
Socks is adorable!
I think so too!
He’s beautiful! You’re the perfect person to foster him! He will do great!
I’m so excited to see him thrive!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!
Yay! So happy you're getting the chance to have a Veiled! Even if it's just a foster! George has been doing wonderfully since we talked (This is Kate) and he has a good appetite back! Happily eating dubias! If you want to try directly feeding fruit, George and I recently discovered that cantalope and strawberry are favorites! (With the seed covered skin removed for the strawberries of course) I hope you enjoy your time with this little one!
So happy to hear George is doing better! Please remember that chameleons are insectivores and they should only be fed live bugs. Here is my full video explaining why they should not be fed fruits and veggies: ua-cam.com/video/jm2nkCc1bDk/v-deo.html
@NeptunetheChameleon That's the thing about Veiled chameleons. They actually do eat vegetation in the wild and are, from my research, one of the only species that does. Fruits and vegetables shouldn't be part of the diet for Jackson's or Panther chameleons, but it's common for Veileds. It doesn't make up a large part of his diet of course, fruits are more of a treat than anything else. Around 1% of his diet max. Also, fake plants are never good for enclosures, but they are especially bad for Veileds, as they will munch on their plants! I've spotted George taking some bites from his more than once!
We also called it on the last streamm
😬😬🤫
'I'm not keeping him''', yeah sure. Haha!
😉
Great
Just ordered your Basic Kit a few hours ago , very excited to give my new veiled a great home💚
Congrats!! I’m so excited for you 🥳
@@NeptunetheChameleon The kit just came in today but every piece of the enclosure was broken during shipping i’m assuming. Is there any way for replacements I contacted the support email
@@UziGotFame The support email is your best option! They likely won’t respond until next week since it’s almost the weekend. But if you don’t hear back by Tuesday, please reach out to me!
@@NeptunetheChameleon I still got it put together, just had to bend the metal back straight the best I could without breaking it and I appreciate it! The kit is a lifesaver would recommend to anybody
Sooo nice! I just got my first reptile and is a veiled 3-4 mo the old!!
Congrats!!
He is adorable! Thank you for stepping in to help that reptile rescue. I bet you’ll be able to find homes for chameleons so easily.
So glad I was able to help! And a few people have already reached out saying they were interested in Socks!
Ooo I have a perfect setup my parents would love to adopt him
Send me a message on Instagram or email!
He is so adorable and seems friendly!!!!!
Yeah pretty chill for a young cham!
You guys are lucky to have each other 💚
Aww you're so sweet!
Awesome!! He seems so easy going!
He sure does! We'll see if he get more sassy as he settles in.
Omg he is absolutely gorgeous if I had the space I’d love to have him I just about came home with a baby from petsmart and two bearded dragons all because I didn’t like how small the enclosure was lol
I know the feeling!!
Omg it's a pied?!? I love how gorgeous he is! 💚
I totally want a pied veiled ch'meleon!
I thought Derpy was a translucent when I got her.. But she isn't lol
He is a cutie!
I love how Neptune is just in the back shedding towards the end of the video 😭
😂😂 he’s just happy to be there.
❤❤❤
💚💚💚
Just keep him!
Hoping to find him an amazing home (that's not me) lol
😍
🤗🤗
Thank you fostering him for a while! Btw with your help my veiled chameleon is about 3-4 months old! Hes very healthy his name is Bobby ❤
A question, what if Socks soesnt get adopted? 😢
If Socks doesn't get adopted and I'm no longer able to foster him, he will move to a new foster home.
I'm building a bioactive enclosure for my son's birthday. I'd be interested in a couple more weeks once this thing cycles in some. If he's still around
Shoot me a message on Instagram or email :)
So awesome to have saved him! I have a question: Do you have any videos on the type of stand you use? I've tried a few, and water keeps on getting everywhere from the misting.
Yes! Look up my videos on drainage and you’ll find them. Here is the stand I use: www.amazon.com/dp/B095Z4WGLL?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzclari071-20&creativeASIN=B095Z4WGLL&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.3O75E57RVWGRY&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ons_mixed_d_qv_asin
Ive decided to get a jacksons chameleon in october
Congrats!
Oh my gosh ❤️ I think he found his home 😉
Hahah gonna try to find him a home :)
I just got a female pied chameleon, her name is Mittens lol
That’s so cute!
i pretty sure i saw him on pets4homes lol
If you did, it wasn’t from me 😂
Hey there! New chameleon keeper here my piebald veiled chameleon had a poop this evening that had several undigested mealworms in it. Any pointers?
I would make sure your basking temps are correct and try feeding them more nutritious bugs. www.neptunethechameleon.com/safe-bugs
When you unboxed
Why have him near three enclosures if he's in remission?
Luckily he’s not in remission and isn’t being kept near the other enclosures :)
Mine from PetSmart has those same dents on her tail I thought they closed the tail in the door or used a tool to pick her up by her tail. But I wonder if that’s the way there suppose to look? I can’t find anything on it.
Definitely not the way they’re supposed to look. It’s likely from shed that constricted the tail or a closed door.
I got a veiled gecko it bites bot it never bites me or anybody else
Hiiii
Helloooo
I don't think I could keep one for over a month and then let it go😢
If Socks finds a great home, then I’m able to help more chameleons. That’s what I try to remind myself ☺️
Hi I need help,I recently found a chameleon outside and it was just sitting on an exposed branch at night and I immediately thought it would be eaten by the bats or the birds in the morning.basically what I'm asking is what can I do because I really would love to care and take care of this little guy but I have like nothing to take care of them with, please give me any advice, they are pretty small too so please help.
Wow! I would first try to determine what kind of chameleon it is and if you’re in the US, I’d suggest getting my chameleon kit: www.neptunethechameleon.com/chameleon-kits. If that’s not an option, you can check out my Amazon shopping list: www.neptunethechameleon.com/amazon
Hello @neptunetheChameleon I have terrible news, you see when I found it,it was in the complete open and sleeping where our bird feeder was so I moved them, then the next day I saw they were still just around the same place I left them, and so I decided to ask my mother if I could take care of it and I am not an imature person and was ready to accept full responsibility and care for it but my mother said absolutely not and to put it back outside.
Then later that day I went past the kitchen to make a sandwich and I saw a bird approaching the cameleon and before I could do anything the bird just grabbed it and flew off,the most soul crushing part is that I could have saved it and even worse than that is I saw it open its mouth and hiss a bit and then heard it almost scream as the bird grabbed it.😢
I have pictures of them
Whereabouts are you (state)?
If you are interested in Socks, shoot me a message on Instagram or an email with your approximate location :)
@@NeptunetheChameleon where can I email if im interested in adopting?

This video is inspiring. I’d like to foster some reptiles too. Maybe frogs, anoles, and leopard geckos.
It’s brings such a rewarding feeling 💚
