It's good character design to give something that makes them instantly recognizable
When I played fallen order, I’ve never put a poncho on Cal, I liked him more without it :)
I wish they’d made the hood on an option on the ponchos that had one, the way Hogwarts did. Hope they do in Survivor. You’d think it be an automatic that they put it in because a Jedi with their hood on is an iconic image.

When it comes to customization, there is no such thing as overkill. I live for it haha.
It’s like the developers saw the customization criticism of the first game and were like “oh you want customization… WE’LL GIVE YOU CUSTOMIZATION!!! 🔥”
The way the buddy system is described reminds me of how it was in Guardians of the Galaxy. The characters would occasionally attack enemies on their own for minor damage but would each have multiple powerful abilities on long cooldowns, which have to be activated by the player.

Don’t y’all think it’d be cool to have a Mandalorian game where you can customize your armor and color and such and have it like destiny 2 where people can party up and such. You could also choose your background like Nite Owl, Child of the Watch, wandering Hunter and such
Will there be some kind of disguise feature that you can use on Coruscant to hide from the empire? That would be really cool, especially if we visit the Jedi temple…
maybe cal has to break into it like cad bane and take something from the archives

But we've got a "romance" where the heroes die in the end, before giving the plans to the rebels. I hate this plot. The film is good, but they destroyed the lore, just to justify an enpowered woman. I want Kathleen Kennedy out, that fricking feminazi!
Making your own Cal with customization in this game is just awesome. I wish more single player games would do this.
Do you think that the rancor will be the only 'boss' that is fought in a side mission, or do you think there will be others of such caliber on other planets or spaces?

They had named animals on each planet. I'm hoping it is more than just 1 per planet though. You had the frog, the spider, and the mini rancor thing in FO.
Imagine a random side mission that would eventually lead up to you meeting Darth Maul or better yet ... even to a boss fight with Maul! How sick would that be?
A krayt dragon or mythosaur encounter would be pretty cool, so would a mudhorn

Do you think that how you interact and treat your crew, like merrin and bode, will change how the characters interact in combat? As in will they do more damage and help you more in battle if you treat them well.

I just hope the map is better in this one. Replaying Jedi fallen order at the moment and that map is so bad. I know it’s got fast travel which is already going to be a lot of help
Cals poncho was always my favorite part of his design it was unique and not usual Jedi attire
This game is coming out on my birthday I can’t wait! Loved the first one and recently finished playing through it again just to get myself familiar with the story once more before the new game is released
If the you use both the crossguard and double bladed stances does the top portion of the saber stay as the crossguard?

Is the level design better compared to the huge mazes you had to go through in the first game like the zeffo tombs and dathomir and other planets?
The tombs were the games level design at its best… it was meh when traversing the over worlds.
The level design in the tombs was amazing, just really subjective.
I loved the zeffo tombs, that was the best exploration sequence in the game haha
blue lightsaber will always be the most iconic lightsaber colour and in my opinion the best blue is also my fav colour good luck to everyone entering this

He answered your first question already. He simply doesn’t know past the DLC and assumes and hopes there are some to find.

Are there more Saber colors than just the ones we see in the trailer? Will red Saber return? Do the different colors have different effects on enemies like they did in force unleashed 2? Also ur literally the best star wars youtuber out there u deserve like 900b subs lol
Now I don't know much about Star war's but whenever there's a Enemy that constantly regenerate's, The most common way to defeat the seem's to Obliterate everything from them, Example's would be the Hunter in Dead space, Perfect cell, Kid buu, and possibly many more. so I think that's how the Gendi character might be defeated

I mean they are just setting it up: IF Cal will ever make the jump to Live-Action (and even if he dies at the end of the third game to not interfear with the original trilogy based on how beloved his character I think it is likely some day), his first entrance will be wearing a Poncho.
I mean, now I want him in live action even more because that together with BD1 on his back would be an amazing entrance.

I'd still like to know how many ridable animals there are.
We probably won't get it in this game but I'm hoping by the third installment we get to force jump... A Jedi, by way of the force, can jump really high and also cushion his/her landing with the force. With Cal, we really don't get that... Only a double jump and a roll to break his fall. A nitpick but I think it's more than a minor thing to mention.

Do you think we will see or even fight the big old palpy? As he is at a high at this period of the star wars timeline, and it may possibly be the only way to top the feature of Darth Vader in fallen order.

Can you have two different light saber colors and can you change blasters/customize them like a light saber ie adding or removing a scope or sm
You can’t have 2 different coloured lightsaber silt one colour at a time and you can customise you blaster but we don’t know yet wether it will be just switching between different blasters of customising different parts of one

I think the only new feature that we've seen from BD-1, would be the ability to use him as a set of binoculars

Will you be able to skip cut scenes? I remember in fallen order whenever i did a second playthrough it was s bit boring having to sit through the cut scenes
From what some have said, yes they can be skipped.

I don’t know about in the game but you could just remap you controller on Xbox to swap the buttons
