I love how easily the Scandinavian culture can switch from native to English in no time at all. Such a beautiful gift to hear and be able to speak so effortlessly. Makes me really miss living in Norway! Thank you for the interview, lovely to watch!
Idk if it's just cause she was well rested, but she seems so much more animated and happy in this interview than in her other ones, I think it's the fact that she feels more comfortable speaking in her native language, but it could be just that she isn't tired. Love her, hoping the movie is great!
These three languages are all in the same family and very similar. Usually if one speaks one they can understand the other two. Finnish on the other hand is completely different and we can't understand anything a Danish person says. (my opinion)
Funny... I learned Danish and because of that I can understand Norwegian but not Swedish. But I also know other danish that understand Swedish better that Norwegian... I guess it depends on the area you live in the country.
I don't think of that as a big problem. I am from western Europe and we're good over here. The ones "destroying" countries are not the ones who just came, believe me. But that should not be the topic here anyway. Be careful what you say. I am sure, kjersti does not want to read comments like yours under her interview. Thanks.
eaglerising88 I live in Sweden and muslims are not destroying our country. Maybe you shouldn't believe everything that is written by the alt right in the comment section by people who has never been to Sweden.
Herlig intervju! Så filmen for en ukes tid siden og elsket den, håper de annonserer oppfølgeren snart. Skal se den igjen til uka!! Drømmen er å få møte Alicia en dag, hun virker helt fantastisk. Xx
This is really damn cool lol, my mum's from Norway and I could understand Alicia's Swedish. I speak fluent Norsk but can't read/write because written is kinda differnet to spoken.
Great interview. I love hearing Vikander talk, but this interview seemed extra special: She seemed to be more comfortable or something, Im not quite sure how to put it.
Really nice to see Alicia speaking Swedish and understanding Norwegian. She clearly understands it, but she also speaks some Danish, so Alicia is really above average good at Scandinavian languages!
Those were my thoughts exactly on The Wave! It's a typical disaster movie script, but Roar managed to elevate it completely with his direction. Hopefully Tomb Raider will be even better!
How did I miss this video?? Well, now I saw it! I love Alicia, and I look forward to seeing this film :D Og så er det alltid litt stas når man kan snakke eget språk med store skuespillere i Hollywood.... :P

So happy you enjoyed it.
She seems so sweet unsurprisingly. I absolutely loved her as Lara so I am beyond disappointed they aren't making another with her (at least for now).
Great interview. I love hearing Vikander talk, but this interview seemed extra special: She seemed to be more comfortable or something, Im not quite sure how to put it.
Thats a very nice thing to say. Thank you

Kamihana all Swedes understand Norwegian
I've Noticed that when actors gets to talk in their actual language, they give longer and fuller answers to the questions.
It might just be that the interview style is different

How is her Swedish accent? Standard? British-tinged?
quite standard, she has just a little bit of the westcoast dialect on some words, but very few.
@@aularound thanks!! I'm a sucker for languages!!
No one be like Angelina .. in this film
She speeks Swedish what a plot twist
Hur förstår hon norska så bra hon måste ha något bakom örat men om hon inte har det wow måste jag säga eftersom jag fattar ju lite
She turned into a very beautiful woman after marrying Michael Fassbender 💜
